This bed arrived fully vacuum packed in a box. I did as instructed and allowed it a couple of days to reach its full potential. It measured in height at 12 inches as described by the seller (see my photo). The overall quality is very good and it is quite comfortable to lay on. With that comfort you can actually get a very good nights rest on it. The top texture is soft and feels like a very nice pillow top that is a firm (medium feel). On the underside you can clearly see where the coils are all positioned across the entire mattress. That being said, it does appear that the coils go all the way up right to the point that it reaches the pillow top area. Still though you don't seem to feel them with the comfort of the top layer fully absorbing their impact. Something that would have been nice are any kind of handles to move it around. I had to grab at the section seam that ran around the parameter of the mattress. The mattress is pretty good quality and is durable. I can always appreciate a good mattress and this one is ok for the value, both in depth, size (queen), and feel. I hope this helps.

I ordered this because my dad said his old bed was starting to hurt his neck and upper back. He is someone who isn't crazy about memory foam so when I explained this was a hybrid mattress that used springs as well he was willing to give it a try. His mattress is pretty old so he doesn't know how much beds have changed over the last few years. The bed came in a pretty compact box and it was sealed in plastic and rolled tightly to be as small as possible during shipping. After unpacking the mattress it needs to sit for 72 hours so it fully returns to it's original size. After letting it sit for a few days we removed his very heavy and very hard to move mattress outside for collection. The bed was light enough that one person could have really moved it but we both did it to make sure nothing broke on the trip. After using it for a few nights he says the difference is amazing. This has really helped his neck and back feel better which also means he gets a better nights sleep. It seems to have made a really big difference to him and I'm glad to see him feeling better. At first he thought the bed was not going to be firm enough to be comfortable but he says it supports him perfectly. The bed really seems to be made extremely well and with the quality materials it feels like it will last a long time just like his previous bed. These hybrid beds really offer the best of both worlds.

The mattress seems to be very well made. It is very comfortable to sleep on. I've had it for a while now and held off on doing a review because I wanted to give it a fair shot, not just a couple of nights. I spend a lot of my time in bed except when I'm working. I watch TV from bed, I eat a lot of times sitting up in bed, and of course I sleep on it as well. So I put a mattress through the wringer and so far this one has held up well. It comes in a box that you wouldn't think a queen size mattress could fit in but it's compacted and vacuum sealed. Just remember to be extra careful when removing the plastic wrap not to cut the material. I cut the plastic with blunt ended scissors to prevent any accidents and it worked great. I opened it and let the mattress settle and expand for approximately 48 hours before exchanging it out with my previous mattress. I don't think this mattress is the flipable kind but you can turn it meaning top to bottom and vice versa. Overall I would definitely recommend the mattress if your looking for a comfortable one at a reasonable price that will make your sleep more comfy and help decrease any aches and pains this is the mattress for you. It's firm, but it feels like it's wrapping you inside the bed when your laying in it.

I’ve always been a little hesitant about ordering a mattress online without testing it first, but this Hybrid Mattress completely blew my expectations out of the water! Here is a breakdown of my experience after sleeping on it: The Unboxing & Setup: Getting a queen mattress in a box is always a fun (and slightly magical) experience. It was definitely heavy, but once we got it onto the bed frame and carefully cut the plastic, it expanded beautifully and evenly. There was a very faint "new mattress" smell, but it completely dissipated after leaving a window open for a few hours. The "Medium Firm" Feel: The manufacturer completely nailed the "medium firm" description. The gel memory foam top layer is plush, contouring, and surprisingly cooling, while the individual pocket springs underneath provide the sturdy support you need. You get a nice, soft landing without that dreaded "sinking" or "stuck" feeling common with full-foam mattresses.
