pretty comfy! It fits great on a bed frame that doesn't require a bed frame. Also if you keep ripping the plastic at the big seam , it wont pop out and possibly break your nose! 4 stars because of weird smell of mattress (like new material smell or something)

I am sitting so comfortably on this new Soxgim mattress as I type this review and I couldn’t be happier! We moved into a new house a little over 2 years ago and it’s been such an arduous task to find a good mattress. In our old place we had one we adored but had to leave for the cross country move. Unfortunately we realized after we moved that they no longer made that one so we had to try a new one - soon began a Goldilocks situation that has kept us frustrated and exhausted up until this new mattress arrived. The first one we bought was a no name brand and was really plush and so comfortable but we immediately started getting back pain. Neither of us have ever suffered from back pain so we knew it had to be the mattress, it was just too soft. So next we bought a medium plush mattress by Linenspa and man, it was hard as a rock. It’s funny too, the one we loved was also by Linenspa but they discontinued that model and replaced it with this one. The back paint went away but we could never get a good night’s sleep. We felt soar and groggy every morning and I really didn’t enjoy getting into bed at night. We kept that mattress for about 1.5 years until I found this one. I lept at the change to try a new one. I really didn’t expect too much, it is a surprisingly low price and weighed a good bit less than our firm mattress. I opened it up and left it out for 4 days to fully rest and fluff. I wanted to give it the best chance to be as comfy as possible. Although I will say it looked to be fully fluffed within a few hours at the most. Well, it’s a DREAM mattress. I cannot sing its praises enough and I feel like it’s changed my life. Both my husband and I have more energy when we get up and don’t feel sore and broken all over. It’s bouncy but has enough firmness so we haven’t gotten sore backs. You sink into it just the right amount - it’s wonderful to sit on and watch a movie and you just give a sigh of relief when you lay down at night. It is lighter than my firm Linenspa but I’m guessing my firm one was extra heavy with all that extra material that made it so hard and uncomfortable because this new Soxgim mattress is perfect. I’ve never heard of the brand, it’s eyebrow raisingly cheap and those are two things that made me think twice about getting it but I am so glad I did! I look forward to sleeping now whereas it was a frustration before. If you are on the fence I highly recommend you try it!

If you're on the hunt for the perfect mattress, look no further! Seriously, your quest STOPS here. My incredibly wise wife convinced me to upgrade my older Japanese style futon mattress to this new gel memory foam version from SOXGIM, and it is a wide-awake dream come true. There is an old joke about “sleeping on a cloud”…but they had never slept on one of these. The mattress arrives neatly rolled and vacuum-sealed, in a long (and heavy) cardboard packing box. After freeing the mattress from its shipping cocoon it needs THREE FULL DAYS to re-expand to its actual size. No kidding, it is totally unusable for 72 to 96 hours as it reclaims its full size and shape. So, after letting it expand for as much time as it needs it becomes…something ELSE! I was totally unprepared for and amazed at how decadently plush and comfortable it felt. It is literally unlike anything you have ever tried before. Our King size bed in the Master has a popular brand name Memory mattress and, honestly, this is better. Plusher (is that a word?), more supportive, more accommodating to your sleep positions AND it is markedly COOLER (Temperature wise, not the VIBE factor, although THAT is definitely awesome, as well). According to the literature packed with the chrysalis in the cocoon: “The combination of gel memory foam and comfort foam provides continuous airflow, keeping you cool throughout the night. Plus, the skin-friendly fabric adds an extra layer of breathability, ensuring restful sleep.” I would have discounted that as “marketing jargon” but that is pretty much exactly how your sleep cycle goes on this mattress. Features that really stand out for me begin with the four-sided reinforced design. The edges and core are designed to be architecturally supportive. The bracing prevents any sagging or collapse. It compensates for my 6’ 3” 270-pound bulk WITHOUT DISTURBING my 5’ 4” 130-pound wife. My getting up in the night to, um er uh, get a drink of water does not disturb my wife who is a very light sleeper. And whether I'm sleeping alone or with my wife, the mattress adapts to our bodies, providing the perfect balance of comfort, softness, and support. Finally, this nifty mattress is super easy to clean and that is a huge plus for maintaining a fresh and hygienic sleep environment. If you and your partner value comfort, durability, and a truly RESTFUL night of sleep this SOXGIM mattress from AMAZON should definitely be on your radar. It is a GEM!
