The shade range on this line is so strange…. I’ve never had such an issue getting a match with Maybelline’s other foundation lines & types. I use shade 118 in all the other foundations / tints but due to the pictures online it was hard to tell. Initially I tried shade 112 as others suggested to go lighter, the 112 is incredibly dark and orange. I dropped down to a 110 which is a little too light but appears to be the best match I am going to get with this launch. I decided to try my original shade 118 which looks ok in the bottle but on the skin it looks awful. I have no idea why, if it’s the high concentration of skincare messing w/ the pigment or if it’s just… off. The texture is pretty thick but does feel decently light on the skin, similar to a moisturizer. Either way - returning.

The media could not be loaded. Just using for the first time, but the shade match was the most wonderful of any foundation I have gotten recently. 115 Cool is perfect. I don't know how it will wear. It's not really as glowy as Age 20 (cool) or Loreal Skin Tint (I have 3-4). I sprayed it with Colour Pop setting spray. The 130 Cool is way too dark (see photo). I am wearing the Maybelline Lifter concealer in 25 which is a bit lighter than I would like, but the next color was too yellow and the one after that was too deep. I used Kaley color corrector under the concealer. I blended out the foundation with a brush, and only used a half of a pump I guess. I added a bit more on the bottom of my cheeks. Sheglam bronzer and blush mixing lavender and pink colors with Loreal highlighter stick. It's so hard to find the right color. Everything came through Amazon.

I purchased 090 neutral with fair neutral combo skin. The finish of this after about six hours of light-activity wear without powder was gorgeous. It was perfectly glowy without looking greasy, and sat well over my dry patches. It was light, natural-looking coverage, which I prefer. Unfortunately, despite a great color match on application, it oxidized to be completely orange. In fact, it was an unwearable and clown-faced orange that I couldn’t even tamp down with concealer. I understand and accept that some oxidation can occur, even in my favorite foundation (NARS Light Reflecting). But such an extreme change is ridiculous and disappointing. I couldn’t believe the difference between the color of the bottle and what I was seeing on my face. Clearly this is an oversight in the formula since I chose a neutral / light shade. If you’re tan, this could be a good foundation for you, but otherwise, steer clear.

Totally taking one for the team here. Half my face is totally natural, and the other half has one pump of the Maybelline Lifter Plump & Glow foundation on. I applied it with a beauty blender, and was happy with how it evened out the ruddiness in my complexion and minimized pores and dark spots. I found that with the sponge, it blended into my skin nicely, and while it felt thick at first, it absorbed quickly and did not feel thick after application. I took a chance on the color, knowing that I needed a yellow/olive undertone, and looked at the model in the product photos. It was a good match, though I did find adding a bit of bronzer after to be helpful. By the end of the day, my skin still felt good and looked good. It didn't feel dry or tired. And, when I took everything off with micellar water, the longevity of the foundation was apparent. For the value and the wear, and provided you can find your match, this is a great product.

I bought this hoping for a replacement for Maybelline Dream Radiant foundation. It’s okay, definitely not a dupe for it. My requirements for a foundation are a pump, dewy finish, and medium to full coverage. This foundation has a pump and dewy finish, but it’s struggling to be medium coverage. Also for a cool toned foundation, it’s pretty warm. I’m going to keep using it just to get my money’s worth but I don’t know if I will repurchase it. Hopefully maybelline will come out with a fuller coverage foundation with a pump

At 55, I have been noticing my usual mineral powder foundations have been drying to my mature skin. My skin just looks flat. I’ve tried several liquid foundations with no luck, my biggest complaint is that they feel too heavy compared to mineral make up. This foundation is a game changer for me. I am most impressed with the dewy/glowy complexion it gives me instantly. A little goes a long way, so start with less and build if needed. I actually didn’t use any type of powder over it, because it would take away from the dewy look, which is complimentary to older skin. It has a smooth, creamy texture, and smooths and blends easily with a finger or a blending sponge. I love the fact that it contains all of the benefits I look for in a moisturizer, such as Niacinamides and Hyaluronic Acid. I feel like I’m getting a double dose when I apply this over my moisturizer. I used this when I was out in the cold, visiting cemeteries for the holidays, and it kept my skin moisturized in the extreme cold and wind. What really makes me happy is the price! It’s nice to be able to use a reasonably priced makeup for a change. I realize now I was just in the rut of using what I was used to, and it was time for a change. I haven’t been using it long enough to see all the benefits, but I’m confident it will be beneficial. Highly recommend this product…hands down!
