I am not sure how anyone can sleep on any other kind of mattress now that we have this wonderful mattress. We have used every kind of mattress over the years and memory foam types are the only kind we will use since they are the best for pain relief and comfort. We have this one in queen for our bed. This is by far the best mattress we have ever used and here is why. We looked at memory foam mattresses for days on end after deciding to buy a memory foam mattress. We went to stores and tested everything from Tempurpedic to lesser priced memory foam mattresses and still weren't sure which one we should get. I know Temperpedic's reputation and love their mattresses but we didn't want to shell out 4 to 7 grand for their best mattress so I investigated the science and foam levels of their mattresses at length for days on end for weeks prior to this purchase to find the secret to their mattresses so I could apply that to finding one of equal comfort for a fraction of their prices. I found many other memory foam mattresses here on Amazon and in the stores that boasted about their 3 inch memory foam and 7 inches of base support foam but after close investigation I found that though it sounds great at first all we would really get was 3 inches of memory foam comfort and that to me is no different than a 3 inch memory foam topper. I wanted more comfort than that, and the most inches of memory foam for the price for myself and my family. More memory foam means you will sink in a lot more (less pressure points that you feel) before your body hits the other base foam. As I have back problems and Fibromyalgia (which my mom refers to as the Princess and the Pea Syndrome) I knew we had to have a mattress that would alleviate any and all pressure points such as my hips and knees. The #1 secret most memory foam mattress makers won't tell you to look for is the size of the memory foam (top portion), and the super soft foam (middle portion) vs the high density foam base (base foam). Some makers say theirs are the best because of more total mattress inches (14" 17" etc) this is not true. Height does not measure how much it will sink in. The key secret is to look for the size in inches of memory foam and to add that to the size of the super soft foam, this is how many inches of pure comfort and sink in you will really get! Temperpedic knows this as their mattress have smaller foam bases and more LAYERS of memory and super soft foams. The foam base is made of a firmer type of foam used as a foundation in much the same way as box springs are to create a firm base, that type of foam does not provide much give and is definitely not something you want to feel while sleeping so keep that in mind. This mattress has 3 inches of memory foam + 2 inches of super soft foam and that gives us 5 inches of LAYER memory and super soft foam comfort. Just what we were looking for! At first look, you may be shocked at how a quality memory foam mattress could live in such a small box, but just give it a day or so to puff back up to its regular size which it does incredibly fast, it took less than 30 mins for ours to reach 8 of it's 10 inches. This mattress is compressed tightly for shipping purposes so it will not look fluffy and soft when you first open that box. Wait to open the plastic wrap covering until you get it to the room you want it. Once its opened up, it is very difficult and hard to move around so I suggest placing it on your bed frame or box spring before opening the plastic seal. The rolled up mattress is incredibly heavy, think about getting help with this if you have back problems, and is even harder to move once the plastic wrap is taken off, hence the advice to place it on the bed before unsealing the plastic. We bought a memory foam mattress frame platform bed for our memory foam mattress as well as a Malouf mattress protector. We have added pictures of the box before opening as well as the mattress once it was opened for a few hours above. My little brother loves it and even named it Heaven on a Cloud, and we all agree!

This is nicely made mattress, it didn't stink when I first opened the plastic bag, and it has zero chemical smell or any smells of foam manufacturing. It is a decent mattress that is easy on the wallet, it's not a Sealy or a another top tier mattress. So my expectations were tempered, that said, I've been sleeping on this mattress for about 7 day's, it's firm but not overly firm, it's nice to take a nap on or even a good night's rest. Because it's a foam mattress it's edges tend to roll easier than more traditionally made mattresses are. Considering that one can pay north of $1k on a top tier mattress, and this unit was about $130.00, I'll let you decide if it works for you. However it's fine for me, it's comfy and if I wear it out I'll buy another one and still have saved $ so I can eat.

Purchased a 10 inch queen size memory foam mattress December 15th and it was delivered December 22nd. This was purchased to replace our 9 year old worn out innerspring mattress that we had held off on replacing because of the costs of new mattresses. We decided to give this one a try due to the cost, decent reviews, and easy delivery. We unboxed it, laid it out on our existing box springs, and opened the plastic shrink wrap to allow it to expand in place early the next morning to give it time to firm up before that night. We also turned on our ceiling fan to help dissipate the smell from the foam (it does have a slight smell immediately after unpackaging). The instructions say to allow for 24 to 48 hours of time for the mattress to firm up and air out, but we used it the first night and it was a little soft, however, the next 2 nights have been great and with no noticeable smell. Our hips and shoulders are much more comfortable now and our sleep is much less interrupted. As another person noted, it you aren't used to memory foam, turning over and moving around takes a little more effort, but it is worth it to us. We are happy with the quick delivery and the comfort so far, and we will update the review over time with any concerns and how well it holds up. Super deal as of now, though. Update - After 2 months we are still very happy with it, so much so that we purchased a 10 inch twin mattress for our son. Update - After 6 months we are still happy with the purchase. The mattress does sleep a little warmer than the old inner spring, which in the winter months was helpful, but in the warm months we notice we tend to either turn down the air conditioner a degree or two more, or run the ceiling fan more often. Not a big deal, though, considering our backs aren't waking up stiff in the morning anymore. UPDATE: 8/23/2018 - We have used this mattress every day for over a year and a half. and it is still very comfortable with very minimal settling where our bodies lay. It is even now way more comfortable than the innerspring mattresses we have used in the past. Will most definitely buy another when this one eventually wears out.

Arrived an entire day early which was amazing. The box looked like it had standard shipping battle scars, the vacuum sealed bag was slightly ripped open at the top which made me nervous but the fabric wasn’t harmed so i proceeded with opening it. I am a small female (5’4” 145lbs) and maneuvering the box into my house then the rolled mattress to my bedroom was easy (I had just done it 7 weeks before too so I guess I could say I had been seasoned). The end that had been opened was already slightly decompressed, turned out not to be a big deal. Cutting the wraps open was easy, i carefully used scissors. It puffed up right away to 9.5” and after about an hour was close enough to 10”. There was no bad off gassing smell to me, even being sensitive to strong smells bc of allergies, only a slight smell of a new product/new foams, which is to be expected. The mattress cover has a nice, soft feel, and the mattress honestly looks like good quality. The feel of the bare mattress feels like a marshmallow, probably close to a medium on the firmness level. Bare, it honestly feels nice, and even squishy. Unfortunately it seems to lose a little squish with a sheet, you seem to sink into it a little less, but i think this is standard with memory foam mattresses. I gave 4 stars because unfortunately for me, being a smaller female and a side sleeper, this mattress is ever so slightly too firm. I toss and turn from shoulder pain, so i added a 1.5 memory foam mattress topper to the bed that I got from Walmart and i suspect I’ll be sleeping better now. I got the 10” mattress instead of the 12” because you would only get another .5 inch of sleeping comfort foam with the 12 for $60+. Even with having to get a mattress pad that’s 1.5” of pure comfort foam, that was only $35, I still saved money. So if you like a more plush mattress i would recommend doing this. If you like a more medium to firm mattress, or if you’re a back or stomach sleeper, this mattress alone may be just right for you. But keep in mind this is in the view of a smaller female. Compared to my previous mattress nightmare, the Zinus 12” Pressure Relief Cloud Memory Foam Mattress, I’m much happier with this 10” memory foam Best Price Mattress purchase, even with having to add a topper. I would recommend it to others.

I decided to try this mattress after looking at a multitude of others. Some named for colors, and popular "Pedic" mattresses. The reviews on this mattress seemed good so I decided to go with it. I have had Sleep# beds for the last 7 years, and although I dont have back issues, they are supposed to be "the best mattresses" so...thats what I went with. Fast forward 7 years and two $3000 beds later and Im now married. Our bed slowly began the "center-slide" where when two people sleep on it a cavernous trench develops in the middle. The bed had the zipper down the middle feature (connects the two chambers to supposedly fix this issue) but it had zero effect on helping. We ordered some foam to brace the center and now our bed had a nice lump in the middle. Both of these situations ended up with us both sleeping on opposite sides of the bed, and either constantly rolling out of the hole or away from the edge by the floor all night. When we bought our house we bought this bed for our 17 yr old son. He loved it. Of course we laid on it and it was super comfy, so we decided to get another for the guest bed...after all...why spend a bunch of money on a bed thats only slept on once in a while? Well two weeks ago I woke up with a stiff back (thanks to the grand Canyon in the center of our bed) and after an hour in the yard it literally went out on me. I couldnt walk. The Chiropractor wasnt open until tuesday and it was Saturday. That night we decided to sleep on the guest bed. It was like a dream!!! We both woke and realized how much sleep we were losing on the crappy inflatable bed. I immediately ordered one for our room. The chiro fixed my back, but because we had houseguests we were relegated to the air bed again. UNTIL LAST NIGHT!!!! New bed arrived and we had it set up in less than 5 minutes. Last nights sleep was so great I had to come and review it this morning!!! Overall a great mattress!! Not too firm, not too soft, not hot, its literally Goldilocks' dream bed!! So stop reading this and buy one!!! You wont be sorry you did!!!! UPDATE!! 1 year later and my wife and I still LOVE this bed! We have replaced every matress in the house with them. Teens love them too!! You cant put a price on a good nights sleep, and at this price you cant afford NOT to sleep well!!!

Pros: I really like the concept, order a mattress and it is delivered. And it was, in less than two days, just before Christmas. It was raining, and the box had been sitting on an open trailer for a time (it was UPS I think, and during the holidays they were delivering boxes using a golf cart and the open trailer). But the compressed mattress was wrapped in layers of plastic, well protected and perfectly dry. Other reviews describe the process pretty well, open it up, let it sit for two days, voilà, a full size 10" queen mattress. The slight smell was gone also. Cons: This is my personal opinion, shared by my wife, the mattress was too firm. We wanted a mattress with medium firmness, not too hard, not too soft, but Goldilocks just right. The Product Information didn't address the mattress firmness, but the reviews seem to indicate it was medium firm. We don't agree. Amazon, I love ya, so I suggest the following: develop some sort of standardized firmness scale. TBD: Amazon accepted the return, with a UPS pickup. Can't wait to see how this goes. UPDATE: So, after much effort to find a page to send an email to a person, I wrote Amazon: "I am returning the mattress. It was shipped to me compressed. Please be advised that I can't return it in that manner. Does the return shipper, UPS, know what to do?" Before I got an answer, UPS was at my door to pickup the mattress. The driver was nice but said that the mattress could be damaged if it was not properly prepared for shipment. He did not know how the mattress could be returned in the box it was shipped in because of course it couldn't be. The driver said in another case the buyer wrapped the mattress with cardboard from various small boxes using duct tape. It must have taken a lot of boxes and duct tape. The reply from Amazon was a non-answer: "I'm sorry your item didn't work out. To return the item, go to our Online Returns Center: www.amazon.com/returns The Online Returns Center will guide you through the process and give you a printable return mailing label. If a pre-paid label isn't available for your return, the Online Returns Center will provide other options for getting the item back to us. For more information on returns, please go to our Help pages: http://www.amazon.com/help/returns I hope this helps! We look forward to seeing you again soon. We'd appreciate your feedback. Please use the links below to tell us about your experience today." The reply did not help. So always looking for an easier way to achieve the best possible outcome, I thought, who would pay me for the mattress. (FYI, most thrift store won't even take a mattress given to them, bedbug and stuff I guess.) To make a long story short, one of my neighbor was thinking of buying a new mattress, and he preferred a firm one. He gave it a try and I sold it at cost. He has since told me it is an "incredibly comfortable mattress." (Actual quote from a text message.) His girlfriend could not believe the cost, she thought it would have cost $1-2k. (Maybe I'll open a mattress store.) In any case, happy ending. And,, on behalf of my neighbor, I now give it 5-stars, if you like a firm mattress. P.S. I asked Amazon: "Do I get a commission for saving the sale for, and the cost of returning an item that could probably not be resold by, Amazon?" I'll let you know if I get one. (If there is no update, you know the answer.)

This bed arrived yesterday afternoon. The box is pretty heavy but I was able to push it with my legs with no problem mind you I'm pregnant. But I don't suggest trying to pick it up without any man power. -Me, like so many others, was so concerned about what I was going to get for this price while not knowing how it feels. Only going off by what I read on the reviews. But It's great! -First of all it expanded very quickly and reached its maximum 10inches in height (it's only been about 5hours since we opened it). -The smell wasn't strong at all but it is noticeable. It smells to me like fresh wall paint but not as strong. (btw I don't really smell it anymore) -The biggest problem I have with this bed is not wanting to get off of it lol. It is so comfortable, feels like a huge body pillow. I just upgraded from a full size spring mattress to this Queen size and the size difference doesn't seem too much. So we're considering getting a king size, if available. But the upgrade was so worth it. I'm so happy I made this purchase. I really believe I'm going to have a way better sleep from now on. -Another thing I noticed was that if you lay towards the edge of the bed it'll start to sink to the point that you might fall off, reason why I'm considering a king size. I don't tend to sleep toward the edge but sometimes our son hops in bed with us and the edge is where I end up so it could be a problem but I'm not worried about it for now. Anyways I know how tough it can be to make the decision to buy a mattress online, So I hope this helps. I'd say go for it, the price is not bad and the comfort is so worth it. So far this bed is not firm but not super soft either, it's just right for us :)

UPDATED REVIEW 8/17/20 I am in more pain than I ever have been in my entire life. I can barely function. I resorted to sleeping on the hide-a-bed. Yes people, the hide-a-bed is more comfortable than this mattress. This was something I purchased as a gift to myself, something I rarely do. I was so excited & couldn’t wait to sleep on it. So now I’ve wasted my hard earned money & am in constant pain. I am so very bummed out about this I could just cry. And I hope I’m not permanently maimed with this horrible back pain for the rest of my life. Go with the Lucid. I wish I would have. OLD REVIEW: So I’ve bought 2 different memory foam mattresses lately. The first was a 10” Lucid Plush. I really liked it but wasn’t sure if I wanted something softer. I decided to buy another for me (the Lucid was for a family member). Started reading reviews & this mattress had some good reviews. It makes me really laugh reading other peoples’ reviews. One says “OMG its hard as a rock!” The next one says “Its so soft I sunk all the way to the floor!” So which is it? Hard or soft? Anyways, I bought a 10”. It’s a love/hate relationship. It is just so soft & cozy I absolutely love it! But maybe too soft? I sleep like a rock, but I sink down & I think it makes it difficult to move while sleeping. I would wake up with a sore back! So I thought it was a tad too soft. To try & firm it up I cut some plywood & put in my bed frame. It has these wooden slats & I don’t think there was enough of them. I do believe that helped a lot. The bed feels a bit firmer & my back didn’t hurt this morning. I will give it a few more nights & update this review if needed. Overall I am please with my purchase. I did notice it retains heat, but I just throw covers off. And I did NOT notice any smell at all. I always thought a person had to spend $800 - $1,000 or more to get a decent mattress, so for the price I am happy.
