This mattress is pretty comfortable and it is super thick. It comes rolled in a box and didn't take much time for it to take its full form. It is however, extremely soft and squishy! I definitely don't feel my boyfriend moving around at night which is a great quality to have and it is made very very well! The material is soft and comfortable. My bed is tall and I am short so with this bed being so soft, when I climb into bed I almost feel like I'm going to fall because the whole side of the mattress squishes in. My boyfriend also usually sleeps on the outside and he now sleeps in the middle because laying on his side of the bed, he feels like he's going to fall off because of the softness. I was super shocked that he didn't get rid of the mattress right away because he likes them more on the firm side. As somebody who likes soft beds, I think it's pretty great. For him liking firm, he clearly doesn't hate it but it does have it's down sides. ... show more

more firm than i was expecting, inflation took a whole weekend and im not sure it even fully puffed up. i wouldn’t recommend this mattress even for the cost.

    • Very comfy and good support
After years of waking up with lower back pain on an old spring mattress, replacing it with this 12 inch hybrid queen has genuinely been one of the better sleep decisions I have made. The combination of comfort foam and innerspring construction hits the balance between pressure relief and support that neither a pure foam nor a basic spring mattress manages to get right on its own. The pillow top adds surface softness that makes getting into bed feel noticeably better without sacrificing the underlying support that prevents the sinking feeling that causes back pain overnight. The mattress in a box delivery and setup was straightforward and it expanded to full size within a few hours without any off-gassing smell that sometimes comes with foam mattresses. The soft feel translates well for side sleeping without creating pressure points at the shoulder and hip, while still feeling supportive enough for back sleeping that the spine stays aligned through the night. Sleep quality has improved noticeably since the first week and waking up stiff has become much less frequent. Having owned several bed-in-a-box mattresses over the years, I find this 12-inch hybrid queen mattress to be comfortable to sleep on, though it feels the least well-made compared to others I've purchased. The foam layers allow you to pleasantly sink into the bed as it conforms to your body shape for good pressure relief. However, the independent pocket springs are significantly bouncier than expected—much springier than any similar mattress I've owned. Because of this extra bounce and give, the overall firmness leans much closer to a true Medium rather than the advertised Medium-Firm feel. The biggest drawback of this mattress is its distinct lack of edge support. Despite the product description claiming a reinforced edge structure, the sides feel quite weak; you can genuinely feel like you are going to fall right off the edge if you get too close. While the breathable, heat-dissipating top cover keeps you cool and cozy for a restful night's sleep, the combination of soft edges and high spring bounce means it is unfortunately not well-suited to other typical bed-based activities.
