I love my mattress! It’s firm and the size is perfect for my existing sheets. It is a good quality mattress and you can’t go wrong for the price. I unboxed it and let it expand for 2 full days and slept on it the 3rd night. Easy peasy.

I purchased this mattress because my plush mattress is causing back pain. I wanted a medium firm mattress because our spare bedroom mattress is what I’ve been sleeping on to reduce my back pain. I received this one and set it up, waiting almost 2 days to let it expand and it did, for the most part. The corners never really did expand fully. I noticed that it is significantly more firm than the spare bedroom. I’m 154 lbs and while it seemed too firm initially, I slept like a log! I woke up completely pain free. I almost jumped out of bed and even shocked myself at the pep in my movements. My husband was even pleased at the firmness, he weighs 215lbs. I will have to plump up my pillows to account for the lack of sinking into the memory foam but that’s no biggy considering I removed some filling and kept it, just in case. The lack of stars isn’t so much because it wasn’t medium firm but more so because it did fully expand at the corners.

I haven't traditionally been a fan of gel foam, but this thing sleeps like a dream. It takes a little getting used to because it takes more effort to roll over on than a traditional mattress. But that's a good thing, because it cradles your body very well and does a good job of distributing your weight evenly.
