Have had this Matress for about 3 months now. I was impressed how compact it is when packaged and how it expands within couple of hours to legitimate Matress that you get from the Matress store. I couldn’t even tell the difference if I didn’t know. It has real metal springs and is perfectly stitched. Now, it is firm. And I mean it’s soft upon touch but it’s quite firm when you lay down. Reviews that said you sink into it, no you don’t, unless you are 250 lbs… I’m 165lb and nothing sinks in, it stays flat. In general I prefer slightly softer mattress and we have one in the main bedroom, but I occasionally sleep on this one and comfort of sleep is as good as on our other store bought matress for $1200… Edge support is good, same on both mattresses. If you are a heavier person - probably get ready to sink. At some point I placed a softer 2 inch topper on this matress only bc it’s my preference. However even without the topper sleeping on it is very comfortable, no aches and pains. Excellent support. It’s impressive! We got 10 inch, not too high and no need for spring box. No odor. Selecting a mattress is a very personal decision. This one worked especially well for my partner, who prefers a mattress that is a little bit more firm. I have added a mattress topper to make it a little less firm. At the same time, it is a good value for the product.

Perfect mix between soft and firm. Thick, and inflated easily after unwrapping. Unwrapping was a little stressful since it was so heavy but after that the mattress was a perfect fit. I didn't smell any odor from it. I recommend!
