This comes in a fairly small box that is long and narrow. The mattress is vacuum-packed and rolled long ways. It is sealed in two layers of plastic to keep the roll secure and keep the mattress clean. As soon as I started to open the last layer, the mattress started to reinflate immediately. It took less than 60 seconds for it to resume its normal shape and size! It is heavy to lift. It is clear which is the top and which is the bottom. Normal queen sheets fit fine on this mattress too. It was soft to sleep on with some support, so medium firmness. I slept on it last night and slept very well - this is the first morning my hips have not hurt! We had the new mattress on the frames in under 5 minutes! It looks like solid high-quality material and stitching. I do not know how long it will maintain the support as it does not have real springs in it. Does not require box springs - it set right on the board in the frame fine. This hybrid mattress offers a decent balance of comfort and support. The gel memory foam layer provides a nice, gentle cushioning, and the individually wrapped coils offer good support for my back. I've never used a hybrid mattress like these before, so I'd recommend trying them out in a local store first before purchasing. However, it does a good job of relieving pressure points, especially around my shoulders and hips. The 10" thickness is perfect for me, and I need a mattress that is both soft and supportive, and it meets my needs. It uses a memory foam design that provides comfort while effectively regulating temperature to keep you cool all night. It is very comfortable to sleep on, especially in the summer, and the foam's sleeping performance is very good, so I don't feel stuffy. The independently packaged bagged spring system evenly makes the tower support very good, and there is no interference between the springs, which effectively avoids the "bed frame transmission" phenomenon of the traditional tower. I figured it would have more of a structure to the item, as in some wood or more sturdiness. Even with the springs, it came rolled up. Really, really bouncy. Probably best for someone 200lbs or lighter who doesn't mind it shaking the whole mattress every time you move. But it's soft, appeared nice. And I left it out in the hall for the neighbors to have a chance at snagging it, and it was gone in a few hours. This mattress really leans into the spring side of the build. I feel like the memory foam topper isn't thick enough to counterbalance the stiffness of the metal springs underneath, and you end up with an intentionally or unintentionally stiffer mattress. This may be good for some people with back pain, but it offers a less relaxing sleep overall. I'm not dissatisfied with it though, as a little bit of firmness is welcome for my back pain.
