This is a really good looking bed. There were several beds that look the same. I chose this one based on that it said it was easier to put together than the other brands. The instructions weren't great and the screws aren't labeled with size. We managed to get it put together after a few hours but can't put the last board on the footboard because we don't have the right screws left. Very nice bed. I was going to purchase from Wayfair, but this is the same bed for $100 less. It took me two hours to assemble, from unpacking, cleaning up styrofoam and plastic, to finished. Easy assembly, but use your own tools to save your sanity. I used a 1/16" hex key and a socket wrench with a 1/2" and 10mm socket. If you try to use the toy wrench they include, you'll go nuts. I purhcased this bed for my son, and it's sturdy and good looking. It will support any normal mattress without a box spring required. ... show more

First off I opened the box and pulled everything out only to find that the headboard and footboard were both damaged. I thought they were made of wood but realized it's particle board with a wood sticker on it that was literally peeling off. I decided to keep it anyway and went ahead and built it. This thing is so frustrating to build and will absolutely take 2 people to do. The most frustrating thing I've ever built in my life. It tooks us over 5 hours. Directions are just poorly executed drawings with no words to accompany said drawings. The hardware is wonky and I recieved 2 pieces that were already stripped out. FYI you will need your own tools because the ones provided suck. This thing has at least 8 locking nuts to tighten. I was mostly satisfied with the quality after building it. The only concern I have is the slats aren't made from the same type of metal everything else is. They bend when you sit on them. So I'm thinking I will have to add some support somehow and reinforce this frame better. We'll see if it holds up. ... show more

I like this bed, the instructions to assemble were great. It was missing a few washers and one screw did not fit, but my husband found some extra in his huge stock of everything. The only little frown is that the colour in the picture is nicer: brighter. I wish it would be the same in an actual bed we received. I have attached 2 pics for comparison ... show more
