The bed frame is a perfect fit for the kind of rustic/country look I was looking for. Assembly was simple once everything was laid out. The bed frame is incredibly sturdy and the best part, it's totally quiet. There's no squeaks or creaks no matter how hard I plop down. the feet on the bottom of the frame seem to work well too as it hasn't slid around. The LED lights are a nice touch, I haven't had any issues with them. The only issue I had with the instruction manual was it was pretty vague with the routing of wires for the LED strip. All in all it's a great buy and totally worth the money

Easy to put together, I did it on my own in about 30 -40 minutes. Easy to follow instructions and all the parts are labeled well. Also a good supply of spare parts, just in case. I really liked that you just use the same tool for the entire thing. When its put together its very sturdy and looks good too. For the price point its very good value and we are really happy with it. The only gripe I have, is the LED strip which has an annoying little controller on the side and no remote. But you can literally pick up a replacement led strip with a remote from Amazon for $6, so I'm going to do that. Not a big deal or major complaint. This bed frame is well worth the money and overall we are really happy with it.

1) Dealbreaker depending on company response: The pre-attached power supply didn’t work. I plugged it into multiple working outlets but couldn’t get any power through the AC outlet or either USB port. 2) The LED lights don’t have a remote or app; instead, they’re controlled by a precarious and thin set of three buttons located just where the strip “becomes” the USB cord to plug into an outlet (the buttons are almost small enough to be a secret). This is totally fine except: a) There’s no power button, so to turn the lights off, you have to literally unplug them, which you can do easily if you’ve plugged them into your outlet, but the Ouroborus of plugging this thing into itself and therefore moving from two USB ports for your devices down to one, frankly, makes me bitter. Plugging it in elsewhere might mean you have to get out of bed on some miserably cold night to turn them off. None of this is the end of the world though, and a WiFi plug would solve this. b) There is no brightness control; their default (and only) brightness level is neither bright nor dim, more like a nightlight. Might be distracting if you prefer a lot of darkness to sleep. It is pretty relaxing though when I’m not trying to sleep. One solution might be to throw in your own ~48-inch LED strip if you’re feeling rich and want more customization 3. I like this bed a lot. It’s not complicated to assemble, and it feels sturdy and reliable. My recommendation would change from “avoid” to “Hey, man, I don’t know why you’re asking me about platform bed frames, but, yeah, sure, I’d certainly recommend this” if they respond and offer to replace my broken power supply. I’ll update immediately if/when they do (and I won’t be like alllllll the other guys who promise to make similar updates and never do). Update 1: Company responded asking for video and order number. Sending that now. Update 2: Sent video. Company responded requesting additional info to confirm my purchase. Upon receiving that, they’ve said they’ll send a replacement power supply. Bumping this to 4 stars. I’ll move it to 5 upon receiving the replacement because this is an otherwise solid piece of furniture.

I bought a similar frame from a different manufacturer that was easy to assemble, but required several more pieces to be connected. The majority of this frame is literal unfolding pre-assembled pieces into straight bars and connecting them with about half the hardware necessary for that other bed frame. Total assembly time was probably about 45 minutes including laying out the pieces and getting organized. My only complaint is the led light. The other bed frame came with a nice remote, can change colors and brightness and the led strip was already in place. With this frame, I had to peel off the backing of the LED light strip and adhere it into a carved out channel on one of the pieces -- totally not a big deal at all, but the instructions didn't really say which way to point the wired end. Also, the led is basically one setting: WHITE...you can adjust the brightness, but other than that, it has strobe effects that I can't figure out why ANYONE would want unless they're trying to induce a seizure. Would be nice to be able change the colors, but honestly, you could buy a $5 light strip from Walmart with a remote and easily replace this one. The wire for the lights has a controller built into it as well with buttons that are tiny and basically inaccessible once it's installed -- it sits behind the frame in an unreachable position -- I guess I can install a smart plug or a Clapper to make turning the lights on/off easier. I do like the frame though -- it sits at a nice height with a ton of clearance underneath in case you need to store boxes or whatever. I bought this to use with a Casper foam mattress and it's perfect...though the mattress does tend to slide around a little right now, but I'm sure there's a solution I can come up with for that. All in all, this was a great buy, I just hated to have to have paid so much for shipping, but what can you do?

This is a solid, sturdy and great looking bed! The best part is that my husband was able to put it together by himself in less than an hour and wasn't on the brink of insanity like he was putting together my son’s Ikea bed. If Im in need of affordable, quality furniture again in the future I'm going to check with this company first.

The size is great for young kids. It's performance is great for 5-18 year olds. Easy to set up. Weight was easy to build even for me that I am a woman. The sturdiness is amazing great for my 14 yr old. He says it's so comfortable he loves that he picked this 1 out of all the ones he saw.
