Really easy to put up all by yourself. It comes with clear simple instructions, and a screwdriver to set it up from box to bed. I love the color, texture, and overall appearance of the bed frame. The roll out drawers is a nice touch, they do however need to be hooked into a little hold in the bed frame to always lay flat against it, other wise they really do look like open drawers if they're not. This queen bed frame looks fantastic and assembly was straightforward, which I appreciated. The upholstered headboard is attractive, and the overall structure feels sturdy and well-built. The storage concept is smart for maximizing bedroom space. The drawers, however, are the weak point. They don't align properly and tend to sit crooked, which makes closing them difficult. The mechanism feels poorly designed, and the drawers don't glide smoothly or shut securely. It's frustrating because everything else about the bed works well. If the manufacturer redesigned the drawer system with proper slides and better alignment, this would be an excellent product. As it stands, you're getting a solid bed frame with storage drawers that disappoint. It functions, but the drawer quality doesn't match the rest of the bed's build. I bought this bed for my 14-year-old son’s bedroom, and he absolutely loves it! It looks great in his room, has a sleek modern design, and is surprisingly sturdy. He was super excited about the LED lights and built-in charger, which make it feel more high-tech and perfect for a teen’s space. As titled, this frame is a get what you pay for kinda scenario. The pros: this is a practical frame for apartment living, especially if you have a small bedroom like we do, so that's a plus. It sits lower to the ground, which I appreciate, as it means less items lost underneath the bed. We also like that it has extra outlets and charging ports, and the light strip is nice when we don't want the overhead light on. Cons: it is not great craftsmanship, honestly. We ended up not using the screws that attach the top of the backboard to the side boards, as they just would not thread into the holes no matter how hard we tried. I think the sizing of the screws were off. The boards are strapped to the bars of the bed by Velcro, so some concerns with sturdiness there. We were also looking for a platform bed as we intend to purchase a memory foam mattress eventually, which this frame is definitely not suitable for (despite it showing up under platform bed), as there is more than 3 inches of spaces between the slats. So we will have to spend more money on a bunkie board to extend the life of that mattress. The drawers are nice for extra storage; however, hooking them to the bed from the front is a poor design choice in my opinion. It is good if you want to keep your young children from opening the drawers, but makes it more difficult to access the drawer for whatever reason. I would have also liked if there were handles, as that would have possibly made the issue I just mentioned a little easier to deal with. Comfort wise, it is not terrible to sleep on, though I personally have to avoid the bar in the middle of the frame and sleep closer to the edge where I don't feel something hard is pressed against my body thru the mattress. My biggest gripe is that our frame was shipped thru FedEx. They left the frame at the bottom of the stairs in our apartment rather than leaving it at our door. We do not have an issue carrying the item up ourselves; the problem is we were concerned it would be left vulnerable to theft. So I think the rating I have given here is the best I can give. ... show more

Love this bed and so does my daughter. The light adds enough of a nightlight that she likes to leave it on all night, I like how you can adjust the brightness as well. Its very sturdy. Shes 8 and her cousin and her bounce on it (even though they arent supposed to)and its held up perfectly. I love the drawers at the end and the little knotch that keeps them in place so youre not tripping ove rthem if they slip out. There were no missing parts. I would send a picture of it all together but my daughters room is a disaster and were trying to get her to clean it currently. The Queen size fit her bed mattress perfectly and looks so beautiful in her room. The color is so rich and hasnt discolored. There is also no squeaky noise when sitting on or moving around on the bed. Its amazing. ... show more

    • Solid Bed Frame for the Price with a Couple of Design Drawbacks

Overall, this is a good bed frame and a good value for the price. It arrived as described, feels sturdy once assembled, and the instructions were straightforward. Assembly was easier than I expected, and all the parts fit together without any issues. One warning when assembling, there are Velcro straps on the frame and "holes" in the frame. Make sure the Velcro straps are facing up towards the ceiling and the holes are facing outward. The Velcro is used to secure the cross wood beams and the holes are for the sliding drawers. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the drawer design and headboard height. The drawers are essentially wire baskets with a thin board on side, which makes them feel a bit flimsy. They also have to line up with a small hole (the one I referenced above) when you push them closed, and even when properly aligned, they don't sit perfectly flush with the frame, which takes away from the overall appearance. One other thing to be aware of is mattress height. I'd recommend using a mattress that's at least 12 inches thick. With anything thinner, you'll end up with a noticeable gap between the mattress and the headboard, just like in the product photos. If your mattress is under 10 inches, your pillows will likely slide into that gap. Despite those drawbacks, it's still a nice-looking bed frame that's easy to assemble and offers good value for the money. ... show more
