This bed shipped quickly, arrived well packaged, and construction was fast and relatively simple. However the slats are not the full width of the bed. Look at the photos, see that middle section? The slats are joined at that point with a plastic join. I was too afraid to even lean on the slats as they really did not appear to be very sturdy. I've got the mattress on top now and, with the weight more evenly distributed, I was happy to lie on it, but I'm still concerned about this construction. The bed is in a guest suite, and I will update my review after they have visited. If it survives two octogenarians, I'll report back happily. If it doesn't, I'll knock off another star. Apart from that one concern, overall very happy. For clarity, I bought the bed without lights.

This low-profile wood platform bed has such a clean, minimal style. Perfect for smaller rooms and young children. I love that it doesn’t require a box spring, especially since I have a small dog who likes to jump on and off the bed. The lower height feels safer and more practical. The platform height still allows for low-profile storage bins underneath. I use a pull-out shoe bin to store extra shoes, and it works perfectly. It’s also easy to vacuum and clean underneath, which is a huge plus. Assembly was quick and straightforward, and it came with everything needed. Overall, it’s a great price for a simple, sturdy bed frame, ideal for anyone who loves a minimalist look. Highly recommend!

This is a pretty nice bed for the price. The legs are a little thin, and as you can see from the pics, the hardware shows, both of which contribute to it looking slightly less than premium. But for the price, it still looks nice, and it's sturdy. I didn't use the light--I had a similar one that has motion sensors, which I thought was much more useful than being able to manually turn the lights on and off. The one I had, though, is only a warm white light. So the one that comes with the bed might be nice if you're more interested in setting a mood rather than having a useful night light that comes on automatically when you're near. The one it comes with can do lots of different colors. Anyway, overall I'm quite pleased with it. Oh yeah, also it was a breeze to assemble. Just remember that the head and foot boards that connect the sides can be attached upside down. The instructions weren't great about showing correct orientation on that part. I was confused for a minute when the center bar didn't line up.

Everything was packaged really well for the queen bed frame except for the plastic pieces that attach the cross beams. They were just in a plastic bag in the box. Three of the plastic pieces were broken in our bag. Two of the three were still usable but one had to be thrown away. Luckily one extra was provided with the frame, and we were still able to put the bed together. They actually provide one extra piece of each hardware required for the frame which is extremely helpful. As for putting the bed together, all of the parts were labeled well. The directions are well written. They were easy to follow and provided good pictures. The lights are easy to put on the bed. It is just double-sided tape. The bed frame is well made and sturdy. There is great support for the mattress. It does not feel or look like cheap material. It looks like a nice bed frame. The lights are a fun extra touch that you can use or leave off. There is a remote included for the lights that takes a CR 2025 battery (first one is included). The frame itself is lower to the ground. The gap between the ground and the bottom of the frame is about 8 1/2 inches. You could store shoe boxes and low-profile storage tubs underneath. I really like the light color of wood to help brighten up the room as opposed to the dark frame we had previously. Overall, I am extremely happy with this bed. I feel the price is reasonable for what you get.

I bought this twin frame to go in our guest house second bedroom. So often there is no space for kids to calm and have their own area during family travel so we took considerations of our in-laws and picked this kit up. There is NOT an LED under bed light in our bed frame kit but it seems the original version listed was. That’s okay! It isn’t what I wanted and if I do I can retrofit it easily. The wood slat and metal braces fit perfectly together. Our kit wasn’t missing anything. I’m not huge on the instructions but that’s up for discussion for all DIY furniture. This bed is easy to put together in an hour with two people. I would suggest having your own tools and not relying on hex keys or screwdrivers being in the box.
