The dishes were exactly as advertised. The bowls and cups were a bit smaller than I would have liked, but they have been working well in our house. The only issue with these types of plastic dishes is that they are a pain to wash when there is oily residue on them. It sticks to the dishes and still has that slippery, oily feel on it - even after tons of hot water, soap, and scrubbing - it takes a bit to get off. That might annoying thing to me. If you don't mind that, then by all means this is the perfect set for you.
