Qidi box internal feed malfunctions

This is the second Qidi box i have had to get due to an internal issue with the tubing being defective and almost needing an engineering degree to fix it. Now i need to return this one because the same issue, the far right rollers also on both boxes are not functional and dont rotate right. I have lost countless lengths a filaments due to this. Avoid buying this product, it will give you nothing but issues and its ruining this hobby for me, as my first printer and ams. Qidi please compensate me or i will be returning both the printer and this box for a refund.

Flawless!!

I think the negative comments are for version 1 of the Qidi Box. Got mine for Christmas. It’s the second version. Paired with my year old Plus 4 and it has been flawless. I’ve done 2 day multicolor prints with no errors.

Perfect addition to a great machine

Works perfectly. I like the ability to dry yhe filament while printing, unlike the bambu solution. Its easy to assemble, and I had it up and running in under 10 minutes.

Doesn't work.

The filament feeding mechanism seizes frequently making a loud whining noise. It is binding inside the box itself, not the filament hub, PTFE tube, or print head. I had this problem since I opened the box, it has never worked. I had thought mabe it would work better once I printed the riser, but I never managed to print it successfully and now it's outside the return window. I eventually used my Bambu A1 to print the riser, but it's kind of pointless since the Qidi is not working anyway.

Wanted to like it, but unit arrived nicely packaged and looked good, but after installing all the parts for it the box would not power on so therefore, I am returning it for a full refund and maybe try again later in the future if the product becomes useable.

Useless waste of money
Color: PLUS4
Don't waste your time if pairing it with a QiDi Plus4, it will simply give you headache after headache. The printer will stop working because of a "tangle" and there will be no tangle. Simply have to press start again and it goes back to printing. I have yet to print a two color object without having to clear the extractor and the hotend. Worthless at this point.
