I have a couple of "high end" rgb stick lights that cost twice as much as these. Those are quite a bit brighter and have more functionality and everything, but I found myself using those in sort of a default position all the time for my youtube setup, and it really seemed like kind of a waste of those expensive lights, especially when I was only using them at like 25% power. I am not using this stand as it does not fit my use case and was more interested in the lights themselves. They are metal Constuction and seem quite well made overall and perfect for my use case, and I feel they are quite reasonable in the quality for price. You could get cheaper ones probably, but they would more than likely be made of plastic and not very durable, or you could pay twice as much and get really fancy with an app and all that sort of thing and pay twice as much. I'm always looking for new lights to add to my 'illumination arsenal' so I ordered these. When they arrived they felt vaguely familiar. In fact, they were identical to a light set I ordered a few months ago only with a different frame. The product description mentions a number of use cases including vlog/Zoom calls/YouTube/streaming. I'm not sure this light set is necessarily the best choice for any of these. It's certainly not if you're looking to do any of the above while traveling or working remotely. The lights aren't the problem--it's the lack of portability that concerns me. Assembly was a breeze. I've put together so many lights that I could do it in my sleep, but these lights were a cinch to put together. More importantly, they'd be a cinch even for a novice content creator that has little or no experience with lights. They might not even need the instructions. Everything just makes sense and that's not always how it works. One thing I appreciated is the inclusion of little things that are useful but not always bundled with a light. Two 30W power adapters--many lights leave you high and dry on this front. Even high quality, brand name and expensive lights will frequently not include power cables. The two gooseneck tubes are potentially very useful as are a pair of phone mounts. The remote control included can take care of both lights. As for the lights, they're rangy in terms of brightness (0% to 100%) and temperature (2300k to 7500k). There are also a variety of colors (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta, pink, purple) along with several white modes and scene effects. Nothing really out of the ordinary, but everything here is well executed. Everything feels solid and well made. I really don't have any gripes whatsoever about these lights. I've used them for YouTube videos, video calls, a video meeting or two and a few other things. They work great in all of these circumstances. I wish there was some type of case or bag included, but I say that about everything. Very functional and well made lights for beginners and experts alike--though if you're a frequently traveler portability might be an issue. Highly recommended! ... show more

The RGB light stick wand with flexible stand by Qeuooiy, is a very functional and helpful light stand for additional or color lighting. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – The quality is quite good when you look at cost vs all you get. The lights and gooseneck arms I would put in the upper-middle level of the quality scale, that feel like they’re made out of good, durable materials that should hold up for a good amount of time, assuming the electronics survive. The stand and phone holders are a generic type that’s functional, but lower on the quality scale. II. Usability – It’s a very functional set that will provide good versatility of colors, shades, and brightness to accommodate many situations. At 30W a piece they’re barely bright enough for many situations alone, but definitely could work for some. I use them as a 2nd and 3rd light source to have better shadow reduction and as added color. The flexibility of the arms is very helpful and allows the light to hit almost any angle. Overall, I’ve been very happy with this choice, it’s performed very well without faults. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.
