This is more like a luggage lock first and foremost. Second, the lock is inoperable! I’ve watched the videos and read the directions quite a few times. After I set the combination, the lock will not depress to snap into place and lock. Return to sender!

I wanted to use these for an outdoor tool shed, but I was shocked to see how small they are. Some pictures misrepresent the size of the lock. It's very likely that the one showing a lock between someone's thumb and index finger has been edited to insert the lock. The one shown locking a bike wheel is quite likely edited also to make the lock look much larger relative to the wheel. The measurements are also incorrect - I get a widths of .8125 inches not .984, and .375 not .591. Some have suggested using these on luggage, but since they don't appear to be TSA approved, they'd most likely be broken by security - so I wouldn't recommend that. I can't give these a good rating when it's likely that they tried to fool people about the size of their product.

This small pad lock fit my needs perfectly which was a relief being it was my second attempt at buying one. The first lock I bought didn’t fit the small latch hole on my deck box but this one did. It matches the listing dimensions and although small feels like nice sturdy quality. The fact I got two for the low price of eight dollars is just a nice bonus. These locks can be used on all sorts of things like deck boxes, gates, luggage and much more.

I ordered these to use at the locker whenever I visited the YMCA but they arrived and I couldn't help but smile. So small it can pass for an earring (joking) but these are small and I'll say good enough for a backpack or travel bag? Definitely not locker size and felt a bit flimsy but I abused it a bit and still working. I gave one to my 6-year old to play with it and the lock survived all the harassment from the little guy. Good quality!

These are very basic padlocks; while technically functional, I would not trust them to secure anything of value. Rather, they could work as a deterrent. The process to change the security code was better explained in the written instructions rather than the incomplete images. The lock, however, does not feel secure and looks like it could be forced open with a hard yank or a screwdriver.
