This alum block from The Shave Factory is a nice addition to my post shave routine. It comes in a nice plastic case for easy storage, and it was wrapped in plastic for freshness I have sensitive skin that can get really red and irritated shaving, and this does a pretty good job soothing the skin, reducing redness and irritation, and closing small cuts. I wet my face after my shave, then run the block under water, and it glides nicely along the skin leaving behind a thin protective layer. I let it sit for a minute or so, and it rinses off well without being greasy or sticky It gives a slight cooling sensation, so I get less of the burning sensation. That said, I do still need to use a good moisturizer to finish it off, but altogether my face feels fresh without the irritation that comes from shaving. For the low cost it is a no brainer, and the block will last me a good while

This works great for my husband's bald head. I shave my husband's head a couple times a week to remove the odd-placed stubble that grows. Well, I should do it a couple times a week, but sometimes we get too busy or too tired. :-(. When that happens, I have to press harder to get a close shave. Although you don't see anything immediately after, tiny little sores appear within a couple days. It makes me feel awful and not want to help any longer. This alym s. tone works perfectly. I simply spread it over his head after one of the tough cuts and the sores don't show up. I highly recommend.

I got this alum block to help with cuts from shaving. It seems to help with bleeding, and I haven't experienced any pain or irritation from it. The size makes it easy to hold, and I think it will last me a long time. My skin is a bit on the dry side, so I hesitate to use it for more widespread post-shave application, but otherwise I would try it.

This is a typical alum block in a nice plastic container. It's traditional alum and wrapped in plastic for "freshness". It's about the size of a jumbo hotel soap bar, and should last a very long time if you're a mixed blade / shaver user like me. The value is above average, but it's worth noting that my bar was only 95g including the plastic wrap.

Alum’s been my go to deodorant (Yes, you can use it as deodorant!) for a while now. It doesn’t claim to stop sweat, but I’ve noticed I sweat less since I started using it.
