I’m five 3 1/2 and 140 and took an extra large. I have a very long and it was a tiny bit big, but the largest too small and it works great. Easy to get on easy to get off easy to clean worked great love it. I will be using it for years to come on our vacations to Pismo Beach.

I used the size chart and it was still too tight. With most clothes, a little loose is okay. Not with a wetsuit so I made sure to follow the chart. It was too small for me. If it had fit, it would have been okay quality for the price. Definitely not as soft as the one I ended up investing in at the surf store.

Full disclaimer: I have never worn a wetsuit in my life. I am a short fat guy at 5' 6" and 162 lbs. Chest is about 40" and I wear a 38" - 40" waist pants. My inseam is about 30" - 31" inches. I bought the XL. I looked at the sizing info and then took a wild guess, cuz' the sizing info...ugh. In fairness, ever single wetsuit I looked at has the same weirdo sizing thing. Like how does ANYONE get the right size? Seriously. Anyway, I think I guessed pretty well. I could not have gone down a size and the next size up would have been too large. The fit. It's kinda weird. I can also say, I don't look good in a wetsuit. But I digress. It's got excessive room in the shoulders and armpits. So it actually kind of wads up or is baggy-looking at the front of my shoulders/armpit area. Not super huge, but it's enough to be a bit annoying. It was a bit right through my gut because, as previously mentioned, fat guy. But it was not uncomfortably snug. A little bit of extra room in the knees, but since I would be using this kayaking, that's probably actually not a bad thing. I'm just getting started with kayaking and wanted to get a start on figuring out the wetsuit thing. This would be fine for a cooler late summer, fall-ish thing. I'll be curious to see if the fit changes any after wearing it a few times, getting it wet, and getting it unsquashed from shipping. I don't love the weird cut in the shoulders. I am not experienced with wetsuits so I have no idea if that is due to the cut of the wetsuit or due to the cut of me. All around, though, it was better than I expected at this price point and is certainly useable for me short term. If I go all diehard-kayaker, I'll look for something that is some serious gear with a better fit for my particular body shape. For now, this will get me started. It's decent.

What’s most important is how this fits across the chest and hips. This fits, feels snug, but I can move, do squats and use my arms, which is important. I had a hard time getting it on. The wrists and ankles were way too long and too tight. My wife will be shortening the arms and legs and hemming the ends so I can get this on and off easier. I couldn’t get the strap and needed help but there may be a workaround for that. I’d like to be able to put this on without asking anyone for assistance. My plan is to use this at the lake when the weather turns cooler. I use a stand up paddleboard and like the exercise I get from it and enjoy being out on the lake. Now I can! Glad I found this. Recommended and would buy it again. 4 STARS!

My husband needed a new full-body wetsuit and he found this one, in particular, met his needs in terms of keeping his body warm and protected from scrapes, rashes, and most importantly the sun while out on the water. I will say though that this wetsuit out of the package has that distinctive smell that is overwhelming and overpowering. It will stink up the room and anything else it touches so definitely give it a good wash and air it out! Other than that, this wetsuit fit as expected and does the job.

My son is a slender 5’10 and we ordered a medium. The legs were a bit too short and the fit was awkward. The arms had extra material in the armpit but also ran short. The zipper in the back worked well. He will continue to look for one that fits his shape better.

Had some guests come over for the summer and they wanted to go surfing with me. I found these on Amazon and thought I’d get them and keep them at home for visitors who didn’t really need high end wetsuits. I received them within a week and opened up the packaging and I thought that they must’ve sent the wrong size. I ordered XL and just by looking at the cut I knew it was going to be way larger than that. My guest (who’s a true XL) tried it on and it was bigger than expected. The other negative was the hemming on the ankles and wrists. They actually turned the neoprene over and sewed it, in essence creating a cuff. This makes the opening incredibly tight and over a long session it will become very uncomfortable.
