The look of it is very nice on the table if you only have items packed in the bottom of the pan they'll stay hot but if you pile items on top of one another the ones on top will not be hot even if the whole container steams up. Had to return

I like to host large gatherings and I was looking for a good warming dish. I didn't want to deal with open flames and I was hoping for something with a bit more control than a standard chafing dish. This product is great! It was easy to set up and kept our chicken wings quite warm. I have already bought the smaller pans to add in to allow more versatility in the future, since this will hold a lot of food. I do wish there was a water level indicator so you know where to fill to, since this does take a bit of trial and error. The lid is also a bit flimsy compared to the rest of the product, but I do love that it's clear so that you can see inside of it. I'm already considering a second purchase! ... show more

I gave this 5 stars based on my first and only time using it. It worked perfectly. I set the temp to 115 and it kept our pasta warm, at an outdoor setting, for hours (until I turned it off). But by far, my favorite part of this item is the lid. I hate going through buffet lines and trying to find a spot to set a lid that comes completely off.
