The media could not be loaded. First of all let me say; it definitely is not a 500w system. I think someone added an extra 0. Now for the speaker itself; I just got it today and had to see what it looked and of course sounded like. As you can hear in the video, it sounds great. I don’t have the bass all the way up because it sounds a little distorted as most systems do unless you spend a few grand. The looks are great, the overall sound is also great. I can actually hear it from a distance even not turned up. If you are into the bright looks of the disco lights, they are not very bright. The aux cable is your antenna if you need it. It DOES NOT come with a carrying strap. Not sure about the battery life yet seeing how I started playing it right out of the box. It will beep when the battery is low. I had purchased another brand that said it was load but this surpasses the other one up. Out performs and sounds way better. I am very pleased with the speaker at this moment. I will try to update after having it for a bit. When in the radio mode it is louder than but. Have not used or tried the sd or usb port so not sure the sound difference with those two. I am very pleased with the price and purchase. Now I can listen throughout the entire yard with a quality sound and not have to keep it with me. I hope this helps you out with your decision. A very happy customer. Up date: Not happy at this poin! According to the description they sell you on dual 4” subwoofers. Can you please show me because I only see 1? Facing the control panel- the left side of speaker is the only 4” subwoofer, the other is a bank tube. ( NO SPEAKER) I called the company and they said yes two(2) subwoofers. They do not have a replacement radio I have to go back to Amazon if I want a refund or replaced. Am I the only one with this problem? ... show more

    • Very Surprising!
Excellent sound quality at an excellent price! The Li-on battery run time is very surprising. Product description says 2-3 hours of runtime. However, after fully charging out of the box, I exceeded 20 hours on battery playing podcasts and music with max bass settings. Now, this was with the "party lights" off and at normal volumes. So, maybe the 2-3 hour description is with all the lights going. Controls are a bit limited, only having one for bass. However, this just means you control sound quality through your playing device's EQ settings. There's no remote, not a big deal for me. And, I could wish the "party lights" started up defaulted to "off." But, eh, just a few button pushes to turn them off. Overall, I'm greatly satisfied with this product. ... show more

    • Great bluetooth speaker
This is overall a solid bluetooth speaker/radio with minor limitations. It has two preset EQ settings, so the EQ is not fully customizable, but the radio has good sound out of the box. It also has a bass control, so you can control the bass level. The speaker connects to bluetooth devices very easily and quickly, so no problem there. The speaker has inputs for a micro sd card, thumb drive, 1/4 in. microphone jack, and 3.5 mm aux. It also has an FM radio. The one problem with the FM radio is that it cannot be directly tuned. You have to let the radio scan for stations and wait for it to find them. For me that's not a problem because I don't use the radio for FM, but if that is a feature you are looking for, you should be aware of that limitation. The only real limitation with the micro sd and thumb drive is that there is no visual way to tell what is playing, since there is no screen that shows what is currently playing. You can rewind, fast forward and pause through them though. If you are musician, you can also use the 1/4 in. jack for a mic or guitar, which is useful for small gatherings, classes, etc. I also like that the volume is a knob rather than a button, as it is easier to control the volume. It has the flashing lights on the subwoofer speakers, which would be nice if you could turn them off and on at will, but you're pretty much stuck with them on all the time. For the price though, the speaker is worth it. It is missing a few frills, but it does the job. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wanted a portable radio with a decent speakers that could Bluetooth and also have capabilities to use wireless headset. Very pleased using it right out of the box. The downside is you can only see the battery usage while hooked to my phone. You can use an outlet while using it but you have use the plug from your cellphone. Was pleasantly surprised to have an aux cable and a charging cable supplied. Next week will be the test in my first dancing class. Used it without the wireless headset the first week and the music was loud. The second week I used a wireless lapel mic and my voice was heard fine but the music was not very audible in the room. If I turned up the volume, then the mic was screeching. Will have to see if I can fix the issue, otherwise it's not useful for what I purchased it. ... show more

Great sound from a small unit, Bought it to use in my car instead of installing a new head unit and it works great. Put an SD card with all my favorite music in and I'm good to go. I bought this boombox to go to a drive-in theatre, worked great, and have since used it a few times. Volume is loud and sound quality is very good. I'm no audiophile but it definitely sounds great to me, seems to have a good bass level. Build construction seems very good as well, it's sturdy while sporting a nice design. The RGB lights give it a nice touch. I saw some comments here of people saying that it isn't very loud, I suspect these people have their phone volume low. If you're streaming audio from your phone and you have the phone's volume low, then it doesn't matter if you dial the volume on the speaker itself all the way up, you'll end up with a low max volume. ... show more
