  • Great little 200 watt amp.
Style: 9 Input Amplifier System
This amplifier is everything that it is advertised. Excellent sound from my vintage speakers. Bluetooth extends to the back of my 1/2 acre lot. FM comes in great from numerous stations, each with wifi stereo sound with great separation and makes my vinyl sound better then my vintage equipment. Not audiophile quality but really good, especially for the money. Great purchase! ... show more

  • Great little thing. I need another 2 or 3
Style: 5 Input Amplifier System
I bought this to gain a little higher level for the blue tooth of the television, so I using it as a pre amp if you will in between to my head unit. I can't believe how little the price was. The remote helps with fast volume control. It function well with a flash drive in the USB port. Plus it looks trick with the little rack style handles and the back lights. Use BT or Fit a USB flash drive and everything fits in place. ... show more

  • Optical cable is NOT for fm antenna!
Style: 9 Input Amplifier System
Awesome value for the money. I love the versatility of this unit. It has enough connectivity options to run all media and run them well. The sound is better than expected but not audiophile level perfect. Plenty of distortion free volume at least. The five theme equalizer feature on the remote, in addition to the tone knobs helps greatly with that though it doesn’t work when switched to phono or cd. I’m knit picking. It sounds good. Two things I will gripe about are the “fm antenna cable” and the lack of a grounding stud for the phono input. I used a case screw on the side for the ground wire and the hum stopped when playing records. Now as for the supposed fm cable included, it’s NOT! It’s an optical wire for a some dvd/cd players. It has no effect on radio reception at all. I bought an actual antenna for the port marked “antenna “ and that works. I contacted support at Pyle an about this. They insist the cheap single lead optical cable is the antenna. It doesn’t even lock into place in the socket, as if there’s nothing inside to receive it. I don’t need an optical cable so it’s ok but it is pure misleading information there. I think Pyle support is likely just interaction with AI and an actual knowledgeable human rep needs to intercede to correct this. ... show more

  • Grossly missreprented
Style: 5 Input Amplifier System
Having purchased many other Pyle products over the years, I had high hopes for this little Amp. I just needed a small unit to put on my tool shed. I knew the 200 w rating was exaggerated, but this unit is only 8w per Chanel as per literature. I was hoping for at least 20-25. Why the listing says 100w rms I don't know. For the price, I was gonna keep it, but the fm tuner has only an auto search function, so you can not manually tune to a station if the signal is weak. It appears Pyle is not what it used to be. I have an old Pyle DJ Amp I paid about $400 that it truly puts out the power and weights over 30 pounds. If they had not grossly misled this product with the ridiculous specs, I would give this item 3 stars. . ... show more

  • Good deal for the money!
Style: 5 Input Amplifier System
I bought this primarily to use for sound for my computer, but it's also hooked to my flat screen TV. It's connected by Bluetooth to the laptop. Connection was easy and instant and it never drops out (so far). The TV is connected to the aux inputs and it was also a piece of cake to hook up. The speakers i'm using are old Jensen 3-way, 8ohm with 10" woofers. They were high end audio in the '70s and they still sound awesome. This little amplifier drives them with no problem with clear, clean highs and bass that will rumble the floor if i crank it up. So far (i've had it one day) i'm happy with it. I haven't tried the radio yet but most of the radio i listen to is on the internet anyway so it doesn't matter much to me. I tried out the usb input with a flash drive and that sounds good as well. Haven't tried the Mic inputs or the SD input yet. The unit is well made and sturdy and all the controls feel good....and i appreciated the power switch on the front. In the "minus" column would be; > The track selector for usb goes only up or down in selection and no metadata is displayed, so you can't browse the drive for specific tunes. > When you connect to Bluetooth, there are 2 loud connection chimes that play through the speakers....VERY LOUDLY! The only way to defeat this is to turn the volume on the amp to 0 whenever you turn it or the computer on. > The volume control dial has no pointer, so you can't tell where it's set. The indicators in the other dials are just notches...difficult to see. I think i can solve those problems with a bit of white-out. > The EQ function is of little use. Some of the settings seem to be of no use for any application. The 2 i use most are "Jaz" (boosts high and low frequencies) and what appears to say "nO .-" which i assume is the flat setting. Overall, it was a good deal IMO. Excellent sound, easy to hook up and it takes up very little space on the desktop. Update 11/7/20; The unit has begun randomly shutting down. Every now and then the sound cuts off and the display goes dark. If i restart it with the power switch it works for a while and then does it again. Too bad, i loved the sound and functionality, but it's just not reliable. I'm returning this unit. Update 11/9/20; Ok, i really want to like this thing. Except for a couple of glitches with the Bluetooth, i think it's a good deal. It hasn't shut itself down recently and the display has remained on consistently. The sound is really good and the various functions seem to work as they should. I'm gonna hang on to this for a while and see how it goes. I'll update if there are any changes or if this goes toes up and i either send it back or trash it. ....so far i'm enjoying the sound. ... show more
