My testing reveiw: I have it in line with my PC with 620G XHD, my CAVS DVD 105G-multi/CDG/USB-XHD/MPEG4/HDCD player, my Gemini MM-3000 3 mic/5 channel Mixer, and my Gemini PA-7000 PreAmp, driving two 15" KCH subs, four 8" mids, and two 8" singers floor monitors. So far I haven't turned the PreAmp OR the Amp up more than 1 o'clock and I AM GETTING SOME SERIOUS BIG AWESOME CLEAR SOUND WITH ALMOST NO DISTORTION. This is with it set up with a balanced 8 ohms per speaker setup side, so that's the lowest power setting of 150 rms. Of course I don't want to push it. For another $170 (or less)I plan to get another for output B on my PreAmp, for speaker upgrades to larger venues. That'a my review. The positives: * I have owned over 10 amps so far. * This unit is by far is the best to date. * Sound quality is superb * Low noise though system at idle (very important) * Matched to the correct speakers, it will ROCK OUT *I now rock 2 Gemini amps, *I will say adding a proper EQ really adds quality. -However don't go cheap! I purchased Rockville EQ's and it was a waste. They produced a hum at idle that drove me nuts. Now running all DBX EQ units. Far superior! ----the negatives: * I purchased this to replace a similar wattage unit, should have done it sooner * The weight of the unit, but what do you expect form a pro amp? * Does not fit well in a standard rack setup. I wanted it on the bottom due to its larger size, however the way the rack ears are required it to be the higher amp in the lower case. I am very disappointed. It is not NEAR 5000 watts. I run about six PA amplifiers, and use everything from a PEAVEY 3000, a 8000 18 sub, as well as some 'cheap' 100 watt heads. Even the 100 watt head I use for the monitors has more power than these amp. Extremely disappointed. I destroyed part of the styrofoam, broke it taking the amp out of the box, or I would return. If you are starting out with a band and saving money, then this is a good solution for you. If you have a weekly gigging band playing professionally 3 times a week, this is a waste of your money. Docked star for noise on it. This unit is loud…super loud the fans sound like running one of those handheld Dustbuster vacuums. Docked a star for performance. This unit is weak. Have to have knobs cranked almost 3/4 of the way up all the time to achieve decent results. Though it was just the mixer we were using so we had our sound technician play with it and they didn’t like it either. ... show more

this amplifier is not the best in the market like crown but if you really want this amplifier to sound good you need a good speaker like the Pyle PADH215 2000W Heavy Duty Speaker MDF Construction with Reinforced Corners you will get the best sound but for you to get the best sound you will need one thing you need only one speaker and connected to the mono input bridge you will get the best sound and powerful so you will need to play all your music with itune and please tune your music in the equalizer of itune you won't regret it this how i have my set up and it sound excellent i recomend to anybody to buy this amp but make sure you buy only one speaker because if you plug two speaker the sound is going to be stereo and the sound is not going to be a lot of power but if you want to take the juice out of this amp just bridge the amp and connected in the mono you will love it trust me you wont regret it this it my set up and the good thing about this amp is that they don't shut down. buy this amp people ... show more
