Pyle makes a really nice beginner guitar. The price point is accessible and the other great thing is that you don’t need to buy anything else. This kit comes with the guitar and it is nicely made too, it doesn’t feel cheap. The clip on tuner allows you to get it ready to play, right out of the box. Minimal tuning is required to start playing. I like having the storage bag, making it easier to take anywhere, along with all the accessories. The other accessories include a strap, some picks, spare strings and a polishing cloth. The guitar that I bought has the matte finish and it is beautiful and super smooth feeling. It is a nice guitar to hold and play. It has nice weight and balance. Most importantly, it sounds good and holds its tune. For everything this guitar comes with, it is a great deal. ... show more

For my teenage son (fourteen years old) this guitar has been a fantastic first instrument. It is a standard full size (39”) - it fits well on his lap. Despite being lightweight, it is surprisingly durable. It’s been a great beginner's guitar as it has everything one needs including a durable carrying a case, a tuner and even picks. I think this guitar will serve him for quite some time until we determine if he will pursue playing the guitar on a more professional level. It is excellent for practicing as it has excellent sound quality, and includes all the frills a novice may need. It is beautifully designed - it has a nice finish, it’s appearance is sleek. The guitar itself is really nice for the price, but the case came with a broken zipper and is therefore useless. I reached out to Pyle a week ago and have not heard back.

Don't waste your money. Capo doesn't fit on the neck of this guitar. Spend a little more money and get a better guitar the first time.

Got this for my 12 year old. The size i got was wrong for his fingers to hold properly (39") but the real problem was that it would not tune. We had to take it to a guitar shop and have them tune it with a special key. If you can manage that then it's a great guitar and looked well made.
