Bought these for an 02 NB miata, which has a weird speaker size. These speakers are one of the few that can fit those cars, and the extra tweeters are fantastic since they fill in the mids/highs that you otherwise can't get in a stock NB sound system. The durability seems to be lacking, since I got just over a year out of them before both failed in two different ways. The right side's tweeters all failed at once, so all treble was lost. The wiring seems fine, so I think the capacitor failed. The left side speaker's cone separated from the rubber surround, so any heavier bass would cause them to flutter/rattle. I didn't run these with an amp. Just a cheapie Boss head unit that was well under the power rating for what these can handle. I kept a star in because when they were working, they sounded really good. It's unfortunate they just didn't hold up. ... show more

Speaker did well. Until. The pedestal that holds the twitters and midrange came apart, creating a very distracting vibration. 6 months old. I have to pay to ship to Pyle and prepay for return shipping which will cost about the same as buying a new pair. So much for a warranty.
