I have pnlynhad a mug press so I've been doing my tumblers in a convection oven which are so inconsistent and tedious. This press is a total GAME CHANGER! So easy, colors are perfect and vibrant everytime. The only bad thing is the smell of the rubber when it heats up. I'm hoping that will lessen as I use it.

EDIT: customer service reached out and sent me a new heating element to correct the issue. the new heating element does work much better, though i still do have to take breaks often (between every glass cup and after 3 tumblers) to allow the press to cool and reheat or else tumblers will burn. i bought this press after my last tumbler press broke and thought i upgraded to a better press. i’ve had it for two months (and about 200 tumblers in) and i don’t like it. the one i used before that was half the price worked better than this one does. the temps are all over the place. my heat gun shows 3 different temps at different points of the press, so i’m constantly getting ghosting at the tops and bottoms of my tumblers. after 2-3 tumblers (and between each glass cup 🙄), you have to shut it off and let it cool down or it burns. overall, i would not recommend this press unless you plan on only doing 2-3 cups at time.

After only using my machine a few times I reached out to pyd life with many questions to make sure I understand not only how to use the machine correctly but also because I noticed an issue with the power cord. If I’m being honest I didn’t think I would get much help but I was wrong. After communicating several times with the company about my machine all I can say is that the customer service is great, if you find yourself having any issues reach out to them! They will go above and beyond to help. I appreciate good customer service and I highly recommend their product! I never leave reviews but I couldn’t not leave this here for others to know that they won’t be disappointed!

**Edit 9/3/23** Customer service reached out and offered to send me a free heating element which just recently arrived. PYD has an excellent customer service team. Thank you! Purchased this heat press and it worked great up until the heating element went. Apparently they only offer 6 months warranty. I’ve had for less than a year and now they want me to dish out $68.99 for a new heating element that will probably go out again in a few months. Who has this kind of money to spend when you’re already paying $350 for a heat press?! I will never buy from them again.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REIVEW I am providing an update to the previous review to include that PYD Life solved my broken timer issue. I was mailed a replacement part but didn’t receive directions on how to do the replacement. PYD Life posted a video just for me on Instagram and sent me step by step pictures through Amazon messages to aid me in replacing my broken timer. I’m not good at this type of thing and had never done anything like that before but with the video and pics was able to successfully replace the part and my tumbler press is now functioning as it should. Already made a beautiful tumbler just to test it out. Now a satisfied customer. INITIAL REVIEW 1/2022 I am sure this could be a wonderful machine if it hadn’t been broken right out of the box. Got it for Christmas. Was so excited and couldn’t wait to use it. Didn’t get the opportunity until this week. Went to use it for the first time and discovered the timer did not work while making a birthday present for grandchild. Nearly ruined the tumbler trying to figure out how long it had been in the press. Contacted PYD here on Amazon. Have yet to hear back and my return window is closing soon. Contacted online agent and told I need to provide a video which I don’t know why being that other reviewers have reported the exact same issue and many others related to quality. SO GREAT POTENTIAL, BUT POOR QUALITY!!!!!
