  • Great FFB wheel for the price/some caveats
So, I was upgrading from a 2006 Logitech Momo FFB wheel and in comparison, this is miles better for less than $100 more than a used Momo. The FFB is responsive and reacts well to changes in ffb settings. The wheel itself has a nice feel to it. The finish is grippy (I wear gloves, so it adds to the grip) and for the insane person in me that needs a centering stripe, it has one so you know when the wheel is borked at center. (It has a strong warehouse smell to it) The wheel diameter is OK, but is quite large for games like F1. There really isn't a comfortable steering angle lock for games with short wheel/short angle steering. Turns that would be 90 degrees in a direct drive simulation are full arm crossing turns of the wheel, even at 300 degree lock. Plenty of buttons. Perhaps too many buttons for most games. Double paddle shifters on the back and the top ones have a nice tactile click to them. Being able to disconnect the wheel from the unit gives it a direct drive look that I like but the steering unit itself get's pretty warm after about 2 hours or so of play (this was doing 30 laps in F1 so that might factor in significantly). The base is also adjustable for a better steering angle. I strongly suggest investing in a steering wheel stand. The two brackets the wheel comes with to secure it to your desk are terrible. There is only one securing point at the front of the brackets and they are tightened by an allen key. The back of the brackets are only secured by pure friction and with the base being metal, the brackets slip and turn often. Honestly, the last thing I want to do after gripping a steering wheel shaking for it's life is fiddle around with a little allen key. The pedals are pretty sturdy and heavy feeling. Again, they also took a decently long F1 beating and show no wear. I reiterate my statement about a stand as the pedal base has little to no resistance to movement, especially on a hardwood floor like myself. They are adjustable, which is nice, but again, they require the same allen key as the brackets, which is not nice. The shifter is probably the worst part of the bundle, but in it's defense, the logitech shifter does not fare much better and is a separate accessory for around $50. This shifter is very light feeling. Sure, it's gated, but the gates are exceptionally short and the shifter's resistance spring is far too strong for the short gates but at the same time the shifter's spring is extremely sensitive. In summary, it's very easy to miss a shift. There are parking brake and Hi/Low buttons on it, but they're at the top, rather than the bottom, so you have to reach over or around the shifter to access them and reach further from your sitting position as well. There is an app that you can try out if you want. I've had it connect to my wheel maybe half the time. All it does is change FFB settings and the like (dampening, centering spring, ect) but i've found that in-game calibrators/adjusters work just fine. Some games detect it as a V99, some games detect it as a legacy wheel and requires significant remapping and some games don't detect it, but any game that hasn't still recognizes it as a controller of some sort and remaps fine. You can put it into xinput mode and map the whole set up to emulators even. Works great with Gran Turismo 5. Overall, this is honestly a good deal. Poking around the internet seems to indicate PXN are making some sort of F1 wheel attachment for it, which would be really nice. If you can overlook things like the mounting brackets, the build quality of the shifter and invest in a decent stand (which you probably should for any $150-$300 wheel) you will find this set up more than serviceable. ... show more

  • If the Logitech is not available for a decent price, this one is your goto
If you can work around it being tricky to setup, read the complete manual and update it properly, this is even better than its logitech counterpart. Decent FF, pedals lightly weighted to diferentiate break from throttle from clutch, metal pads for shifting or clutch/brake. Decent shifter with reverse and selector for 12 speeds On the otherside this is not compatible with many games, I use it in windows 11 and it works with most of the games and some time setting it up but it might not be for everyone. For me it was like 100 bucks cheaper than the retail price for its logi equivalent and Im a geek for this stuff so it was my go to but that's the best case scenario for buying (and keeping) this one ... show more

  • It's great when it works
After playing with the connections for an hour I got it to work on my PS4. Sadly it was short lived after 3 to 5 min of playing its like it disconnected/freezes whatever you were doing accelerateing turning ect it just keeps doing that and nothing works not the wheel pedals or the ps4 remote. You have to turn it off and restart everything recalibrate and it will work again for 3 to 5 minutes then do the same thing again. Hopefully it's a bad cable or a setting I don't understand (I'm not very computer savvy) it's sad because when it works it works very well clutch brakes accelerator steering shifter all feel good and make for a great driving experience. Also hopefully they will get back to me as I submitted a tech help email to the company. I'm just praying their customer service is good and they can help me sort it out. If not I guess ill send it back and just buy some another better made sim setup because now that I've used it I can't go back to the PS4 controller 🤣 will update when/if they reach out to help with support ... show more

  • Good for a first set up.
Good set up, feels great with force feedback. The plastic foot pedals are cheap feeling, and disconnect from the wheel too easy. They could be spread a little further apart as well. Overall it's great for a first set up and can get good gameplay out of it.
