No complaints. Build quality seems fine, nothing except the roller in the middle of the stalk rattles when you shake it, it’s not too stiff or loose, and it’s pretty quiet out of the box, only getting more silent as you break it in. For my first shift lever it’s doing pretty well. My only complaint is that it MAY be clunky to shift into reverse at first, so keep that in mind & rebind your controls if you need to switch between reverse & 1st often. It also seems pretty forgiving about the lever’s position, you don’t NEED to send it home for every single shift to register properly, but it’s damn fun to do anyways.

The media could not be loaded. This shifter was easy to install. It was recognized by my pc right away and I was able to set it up in games fairly easy. Every gear was recognized regardless of shifting speed, order or slow gear to gear speed. The hi/lo button would have been nicer if on the shift knob for easier access but still nice to have as well as the park brake button. All buttons and even gears can be assigned to anything you want. The gated part of the shifter is hard to get used to but makes a bit easier to not hit a wrong gear. Quickly shifting to reverse is quite difficult and even harder going back to normal mode as it seems shifter gets stuck and doesn't release until it is fully in neutral position. This makes reverse to 1st shifts difficult. Other than that the base holds strong to desk and doesn't slide, twist or shake. Very good shifter for the price!

Can’t get it to connect and use it

The gear shift is not bad for what you get. It is pretty easy to install. It a simple clamp with twist tightening on the table. I will say to put some padding as there is not too much padding between the clamps and I feel like it can leave a mark on the table if you are not careful. Regardless of that, the shift clamps and holds pretty well. I would say do not over tighten the thing as you may actually cause it to be harder to remove in the future. The shifter feels really nice and actually takes a good amount of punishment from the constant shifting. It has not broken or cracked. You can also attach it to your sim rig if you have one. It holds well. It has a pretty long cable so you can run pretty far from the device you are connected to. There are no kind of delays when shifting gears. There are button controls on the shifter. It is just Low/High and park. It is just like a car. So far it has worked well with my xbox, pc and ps5. I did not have to do any initial setup other than pretty much plug and play. The only thing you may need to do is adjust the settings to your liking. The paddle on the shifter is not bad. The knob had a good outline on the device so you are able to see the gear number easily. It has worked great in games. Overall this is a good addition to my sim rig. The shifter is pretty durable, responsive and well designed. I wish there was a bit more padding on the clamp to protect the surface you are attaching it to.

I'm an old-school manual transmission enthusiast when it comes to shifting cars. So, reviewing this shifter had me excited. While there are pricier options out there, I'm evaluating it based on our family's budget-friendly racing setup. Out of the box, it feels surprisingly solid with a metal gated shifter plate, adding weight and a mechanical feel. However, it's crucial to remember that this game controller can't fully mimic the real shifting experience of a car. Sure, it lacks the authentic feedback and vibrations of a true transmission, but considering it's a simulated gaming accessory, my expectations are managed. Interestingly, racing with a stick shift in a game turns out to be more fun than I anticipated. The shifter's mounting solution involves a plastic table clamp, which, I'll admit, isn't universal and feels somewhat limited. I would have appreciated a more adaptable design. To fit my setup, I had to get creative and repurpose some motorcycle light brackets. In essence, if you're hunting for an exact replica of real stick shifting, this isn't it. However, if you're seeking an extra dose of enjoyment for your virtual racing escapades, this product delivers. It's reasonably priced and enhances the racing experience. A solid five stars from me.

This shifter accessory is exactly what I wanted! First off, it feels nicely made and doesn't feel cheap. It is mostly made from plastic, but it doesn't feel too plasticky or cheap. It has a little weight to it but nothing too crazy and definitely still easy to manage and take with me on the go, when needed. It is very easy to setup and use, basically plug and play. I used this with my Xbox Series S console and had have no issues to report. I used this in combination with my driving wheel and the overall experience was wonderful and so much fun. I was never much of a manual transmission type of guy, but this is an extremely fun and "realistic" way to for me to learn and get into it. I really have so much fun using this for racing games. All things considered, this is a very nice accessory and while I only used it on my Xbox, I would assume the same great experience on other consoles and PC.

The media could not be loaded. This shifter feels great for the price. Each gear snaps into place, and you can wiggle it in neutral. I attached it to my desk quickly and it felt really solid, video included. If I had to change one thing, it would be the location of the e-brake button but overall I’m so happy with this purchase and the value that it doesn’t hurt the score, in my opinion.
