Purchased these for when I was recording from my phone. Base unit receiver thing has USB-c, iPhone, and a audio connector. Just plug into device, power up, hold button to connect and go. Sound quality isn't superb, but works for price.

Extremely easy to use. switch on and you're good to go literally out of the box. I felt the mic holder should be able to rotate so that the mic can still be upright even if I am wearing a round neck jersey. Once you clip to a side the mic tilts and your voice is a bit away from direct pick up. The mic thought is quite sensitive. This means it will actually pick up the ambient noise well enough as well. This is why the mic should be able to stay in an upright/vertical position regardless of the top/shirt/blouse/dress/jacket etc you wear. UPDATE! The RECEIVER does NOT work anymore. Only about 3 times product has been used. Durability is ZERO! I NEED A REFUND PLEASE AND THANKS! ... show more

The only way to make my voiceover sound good on my Android is to not select the brand's mic as the input. Over my laptop, it sounds awful.
