I specifically bought this steamer to travel with. It’s lightweight and small. Perfect to pack in a suitcase or carry on. I’m going on a 2 week vacation next week so I tested it out. It works great. It heats up super fast and does a great job. The only downside is that it’s very small so I got only 4 pieces of clothing steamed in one sitting. The water compartment is small so it only steams 3-4 pieces at a time. But that’s not a problem for me since I wanted something small and lightweight for travel. It’s a great purchase and I wish I bought it many years earlier for traveling purposes. Also be very careful with it because it will burn you if you’re not careful and do not leave it out if you have little kids. II find it easier to use if you hand your clothing on a hanger so you won’t burn yourself and that way you can keep the steamer in an upright position. ... show more

Bought for my apartment, works really well. Heats up fast and steams out wrinkles with only one or two “swipes.” Compared to the other steamers I’ve used, this one is fastest at getting out wrinkles. Be careful though because it gets VERY hot and if you touch the clothing too quick it can burn you. I burned my finger a little bit when I was holding up my sheet. But as long as you’re careful (and probably don’t use around kids or pets), you should be good! ... show more

Thus far it has only been used once. The size is good and the heat up speed is just excellent. I do need to experiment with different clothes. The steamer seems very much 'right handed'. I use this steamer when traveling as it fits easily in a backpack, carry-on, or checked bag. I would say to wait until the water finishes boiling and you see a constant stream of steam as it does drip hot water sometimes. I have been using it for a year now and it still works perfectly.

This is a small steamer, thus it only holds a little water and only steams a small area. It works great for us as an occasional touch up tool. I wouldn't use it on a regular basis for multiple garments or large jobs because it would require a lot of refilling.
