This coat is of quality construction. I live in the upper Midwest and require a coat to protect me from cold, wind, and precipitation. This coat does it beautifully. Zippered pockets keep keys and other valuables secure. Elastic and velcro at the wrist prevent cold air from rushing up the arms. The main zipper closes the coat all the way to the chin. The hood is a bit large (since it is designed to accommodate a ski helmet), but is still workable. The sides of the hood protect both sides of the face meaning I must turn my head to see what is coming from either side but never have to worry about Jack Frost nipping at my nose or cheeks (unless heading straight-on into the wind)! It is easy to “roll” the fur edging back to open the visual field. Wearing strong clothing beneath the coat, it was snug, warm, and cozy when out for an hour in single digit temps on a day of sustained 20 mph winds. In fact, it was so warm and windproof, I began to sweat! It would be nice if a longer version were available—one extending to mid-thigh, but in the absence of that, I plan to wear this coat for many winters to come.

I was really impressed with all the carefully thought out details in this jacket! It's got tons of pockets and adjustments. The fit is great. It's very warm and cozy feeling. I absolutely love this pattern 😍 it's a white coat with different colors accenting it in a perfect way, not loud, just beautiful. So much better in every way than I thought it would be. It's better than much more expensive jackets in every way, the fit, the feel, the look, all excels. It fits my body which is something that many jackets don't, but I believe this jacket will fit everyone because of the way its made and all the adjustments. I have long arms, broad shoulders, thin to average body, I'm tall at 5'9" 140 pounds, and I love that the jacket is not boxy, it looks so good that I can't help but smile when I look at myself in the mirror while wearing it! The sleeves are great that they have BOTH the velcro and the built-in extended fabric sleeve with thumb holes, it makes it not only fit every arm length but adds to the cozy feel. It's toasty warm, but doesn't weigh you down. It even washes well, I washed it in the gentle cycle and gentle cycle in the dryer, and it came out beautifully. I wash everything before I wear it, but I don't think this jacket will show the dirt if it gets dirty because of the beautiful swirling colors, but if it does, I feel confident it could be successfully cleaned. When it arrived it was a bit wrinkly because they squeeze it into a package for shipping, which is fine, that's normal, but the washer and dryer took out all the wrinkles and the jacket looked even better, it's gorgeous 😍

My wife stated that the jacket is nice and warm but the hood is too big and that they put the velcro, well the put the same velcro on both sides so you can't use the velcro straps. She is going g to have to sew additional velcro in order to close the hood tightly around the neck. That's just dumb. I said to return the coat but she stated its not worth the hasle.

I am very particular about my winter coats and I will do a lot of research before making a purchase. I found this one and am so thrilled I ordered it! Pockets galore! There's an inside zippered pocket on the left side, a mesh pocket on the inside right (this one is big enough to fit my big wallet), a zippered pocket on the outside left sleeve and 2 zippered, outside side pockets. Keep ALL your important stuff secure with all these zippered pockets. Ok, enough about the pockets. Let's get to the warmth. This coat is SO warm. It's windproof, which makes all the difference. The padding is a little bulky but not uncomfortably so. The high collar keeps the back of my neck warm when I don't want to wear the hood. The hood is big and helps block wind from the face but can be a little hard to see when you're hunched over, shoveling snow, which is why I love the high collar so much. I'm 5'5", 192lbs. I normally wear a size 14 and ordered this coat in 2X. It's a little big but I prefer roomy over tight so a little big is better for me. I live in the Midwest and winter is no joke here so a coat that leaves plenty of room for layers is great. Another great feature of this coat is the cinch chords on the inside. Not for the waist. For the bottom of the coat, to keep cold and wind from coming up through the bottom of the coat. I love it! I highly recommend it, if all the things that are important to me are also important to you.

I'm 5ft 5 inches 145-150lbs. The coat was very warm and kept me dry when I went skiing. Loved the pocket on the left arm to store my ski pass. The adjustable pull strings on the bottom of the coat allowed for more wind block. The first day skiing it was 18 degrees. I wore my base layer and a sweatshirt. I was very warm. The second day was 34 degrees and I wore the same layers and was a little toasty. The long sleeves are great and made pulling my ski gloves on easier. The large hood even fit nicely over my helmet when it got windy. Good material. Nice big pockets inside the coat.

I like the style very much but I wore this jacket three times last week on a ski trip and both side pocket zippers and both sleep pocket zippers failed. Coat will definitely be returned.!
