You get 2 gold, 2 gunmetal, 1 silver, and 1 brass colored chain. The description on Amazon says that there are stainless steel but the packaging doesn't say it and it's no where on the chains themselves so I'm hoping that they really are stainless. I wish they would've had 2 silver chains and no brass or just 1 gunmetal chain. They seem like decent quality but I would think that they would be a little heavier if they are stainless. The chains are a good length if you carry your purse on your shoulder, but if you want carry your purse as a cross body, which is what I was hoping to use them for, then they are much too short... That's my own fault for not measuring to see exactly what length I needed. The clasps seem to be pretty good, just a little stiff bc they are new. The clasps spin 360° so they move freely. The links on the chains do tend turn and kink up awkwardly sometimes. As long as the chains don't tarnish and don't start to smell like keys then I will keep it as a 4 star review. But if it turns out that they are not really stainless then I would only give 2 stars. ... show more

I wanted to replace a strap that broke on a purse and these were perfect! I was also able to change the look of my purse. Love these and actually gave 1 of them to a friend who admired mine. The fact that they are good quality and an assortment of different textures is great.

I used one to add to a small purse. The purse has wrist strap only. The chains are attractive and can be added easily. They seem to upgrade the purse.
