However it is just like the Eddie Bauer down throw which is great for anyone who is up north or down further south. Good for winter here in the desert but not as thin and flat as the queen that I'll use in the summer. But I wanted a lightweight THIN throw. As far as WEIGHT it is light, cuz feathers. As thin and flat as the discontinued queen, no. Comes from the package very flat, but fluffs up some once shaken out and put to use. Nice size for lap coverage. This is a very nice, light, down throw. The outside fabric is soft and does not generate static electricity. It is just the right size to provide adequate coverage when lounging and keeps you nice and warm. Highly recommend.

I'm so disappointed in this blanket! I purchased a small dark blue (navy) puredown throw blanket last year and it is great, so I was confident that the puredown queen size dark blue (navy) blanket would be of the same quality and ordered it, but this this blanket is horrible! It's like all the feathers in the blanket are disintegrating and leaking out of the weave of the fabric. This queen size puredown blanket sheds feather bits constantly. I thought that if I washed it and fluffed it in the dryer that it would stop shedding so badly. Nope! It only got worse! The blanket is covered with these feather bits (see image). I do not have any pets, so it's not pet fur. I'm going to have to throw it in the garbage and try to figure out how to get all of these teeny tiny bits of feathers out of my house. They are floating around in the air all over my home. What a mess and a waste of money! ... show more

Arrives super flat...you have to wash and wool ball dry it before use to fluff the down. The smooth polyester cover is a bit cool to the touch, not exactly cozy like cotton, but for the price it's just ok. Not sure I'd buy again.
