Love this product. I had purchased this same type of heated blanket for my mom and used it 24-7. It lasted 6 yrs until it finally gave up the ghost. I bought the new blanket for my hubby’s side of the bed. We are the proverbial she’s so hot and he’s so cold kinda couple. He loves the new blanket. He likes that it heats evenly throughout without having hot or cold spots. He also likes that stays on for the entire night. He’s also pleased that the controls are no nonsense and are basically plugin, set the temp and be done with it. I highly expect the quality and durability to match that of the previous purchased for my mom.

I purchased this and within a few days it stopped putting off any heat. Exchanged through Amazon as defective. 2nd blanket worked for a few weeks and now same thing- even when the “heat” is turned up to high, I can barely feel any heat at all.

I bought 2 queen size blankets, one for me and one for guest room. Had a slight problem with the one I was using the first night. One side quit working. Went through Amazon contacted seller and they responded with direction to restar the one controller to be sure it was tightly connected..took care of the problem. Was contacted quickly ( a couple of hours) and assured if this instructions didn’t work they would make it right. Now days I’m impressed. Also 5 year warranty. Hope it lasts as long as my 30 year old St. Mary’s heating blanket did. So far so good. Will see how it hold up.

This blanket is luxuriously soft and beautiful. Its heating system is adequate, but not great, and is made to be an evenly distributed, full-bed, all-night gentle warmth. I crawled into bed with icy feet and turned it on, and it wasn't quite enough. The "net" inside the blanket is basically a grid of warmth, but the gaps between the warm lines are relatively large. Like most heated blankets, if you ball it up or lay directly on top of one of the heating elements it gets quite hot, but otherwise the temperature was still a "meh" warmth even when I cranked it up to 10. If I were overnighting this would probably be enough, but I was hoping for something more cozy, like I get from the heated blankets I toss over my legs while I'm working from a home office in my basement. I really didn't even feel the "1 through 5" heat; they're extremely subtle. The electric controller was also slightly annoying. The control unit itself is pretty easy to use (click on/off, and a separate up/down to choose heat from 1 to 10), but the control head is located just 3 feet from the outlet, then there's a long cord from it to your bed. So you mayyy be able to reach it from your bed, but you may also have to crawl out of bed or at least roll to the edge and reeeeach if you need to adjust it. It's still a nice blanket, just not everything I was hoping for

I bought this heating blanket because I’ve had serval sunbeams etc. that would only last a couple of months before either the controllers went out of the coils in the heating blanket its self. Well my mom has had this blanket for 3 years and no problems! So if you need a heating blanket to rely on this would be the one!!
