Even running on high/3 it is very quiet. However, there were NO instructions that came with it. No manual. No set up sheet. Nothing. I'm not stupid but I really wasn't sure where to put the water or how much initially. I found a video that BRIEFLY showed water being put in. Nothing about warranty. Nothing. I have never bought anything that didn't have some kind of sheet of information. Even though I'm running it on 3 it has not raised the humidity any more than the humidifier I was using that left white dust. And had I turned that one to the highest level my humidity would go even higher. So possibly no white dust vs. dust and more humidity. From this standpoint this wasn't a smart purchase. But it is quiet and IF I don't get white dust with it that's a plus. ... show more

The product packaging was impeccable, but the actual product was damaged. The photo show that the outside filtering plastic was actually inside the center of the unit. It also shows that the other side of the unit had damage to the filtering.

    • Humidity and white noise if you want
It’s only been a few days-but so far I am super happy with this! It does a great job dispersing and lasts a long time. I use it as white noise as well at bight on the highest setting. It is quiet on the lower settings but when you crank it to the highest setting, it sounds like a regular fan (which the top is) so all around it is everything I want! ... show more

    • Performs well but no WiFi connectivity.
This is a solid choice for a room humidifier, but it does not have WiFi connectivity. I knew that when I bought it, but realized being able to control a humidifier from my phone is what I really wanted. I used it for about 3 months and it seemed to perform well. You can refill it without taking it apart, but you need to be careful to not get water everywhere. If you don’t need WiFi connectivity, this unit is a decent choice.     • Run times an exaggeration!
As far as an evaporative humidifier goes - it does work. However, the lowest fan speed does nothing for indoor humidity and I have not found another one of the fan speeds that will last through the night. The unit runs out of water on all the other speeds! When it runs out of water, the inside humidity immediately rises so it can be useless once you wake up - it becomes just a fan trying to dry out it's filter. I'll keep it, but I would never buy another nor recommend anyone buy one. ... show more
