I have been looking for a powder that would go over my foundation and would help to cover up red veins and redness around my cheek areas. Well, i have tried so many products, even IT. I have NOT tried all products. But, i need not look any further. Pur powder foundation glides over my B&B foundation and the combo is like magic. It does NOT make my face look dry! It doesn't change as the day goes by (cant say if i sweat)! I put on this combo and go about my day. I bought a lighter color and a slightly darker because i am light but like a little darker during the summer. . I truly am thrilled with the result! I wish they had more blush colors too. I ordered the lighter shade and i am in love. These products just do such a great job with looking natural and are comfortable to wear, not chalky and drying. I have mature skin that needs hydration, but doesn't look wet! The Pur powder does the trick I do recommend!

Love, love, love this foundation. 62 yrs. old and this is the first foundation I have found that doesn't look/feel like foundation. It is lightweight and blends beautifully into my skin. Looks just as great in bright sunshine as it does under artificial light. It is not full coverage, but I guess it is buildable. I didn't want full coverage. I use a brush to blend it in circular motions and it makes my skin look smoother and more even. I chose the Light color and it is perfect! For any spots that need more coverage I just use a small brush and a bit of concealer over it. I think it is actually improving my skin too! It looks clearer when I am not wearing any makeup. This doesn't settle into fine lines/wrinkles. I can't say enough good things about it!

TLDR, this foundation provides a boost to your natural skin without that foundation feeling. Think your skin but better... less red and more even, zits are less noticable but not invisible, pores exist but aren't highlighted and are slightly "blurred" (Though I highly recommend reading the full review obviously) This review is to help you decide if it's right for you, I'm going to be honest and thorough because I find those reviews most helpful, even if that means sharing unflattering pics lol The pictures include one front facing camera, and the rest are rear facing WITH FLASH so you can see how it sits on skin texture, take. Roughly 4hrs after application. While no one wants to post unflattering pics of themselves, I think it's important to accurately portray how the product works. When looking at me in real life, it looks like the front facing camera shot, but as with any foundation it looks very different under bright unflattering light or when you examine it closely in a mirror. I thought it was important to include both. So onto the review. This is a lightweight, sheer coverage, buildable, powder foundation. Pros - lightweight, as in I literally can't feel it on my skin - buildable - doesn't cling to dry patches - doesn't highlight the large pores near my nose - can be used on it's own, as a setting powder, or even as a foundation with spot coverage using concealer or foundation for a more natural sheer look while still covering "problem" spots. - doesn't get that weird separation in oily areas that can happen with some foundations. - doesn't irritate my sensitive skin - long lasting, still look good at the end of the day - while it's not waterproof, you can go out in the rain or workout without it all coming off Cons (or at least things some might not like) - it's sheer, while buildable you'll never reach full coverage with just this powder. - it's pressed powder, many prefer loose powder as it's more finely milled. I will say this is verrrrry finely milled for a pressed powder though - the shade range isn't fantastic, though if you're pale you're in luck - it's somewhere between a matte and satin. While more "dewy" than most powders, it's still a powder foundation and won't give you that wet glass dewy look For reference, I don't use primer and I did not use foundation or concealer under it for more coverage. I am having a flare up with my skin (hormones, not a reaction to the powder) so I have a few zits and red patches, but I figured this was a good time to make the review so others with these problems can see what kind of coverage to expect. I ordered shade light porcelain as I'm very pale. It's a good match for me, other brands that match well for me for comparison.... Wet n wild photofocus in soft ivory, wet n wild cushion foundation in porcelain, hard candy glamoflauge in vanilla, and I believe I used porcelain in Maybelline fit me.

I was expecting a product that was easier to pick up with a brush. It could have been my product was expired or dried out. Really have to use pressure to get any powder out of the hard powder with a powder puff on the go. When I tried to wet it, it hard panned. I may try my luck and purchase one more time, I do like how the end result looks. From videos I've seen, this powder should leave a generous amount on the brush when swept over the compact.

I have rosacea, so I wear a light foundation and like to add a finishing powder on top. This compact is perfect for having in my makeup case or in my purse. It gives a flawless finish and looks completely natural. I also have sensitive skin and have to be very careful with what I put on my face; this product has not caused any skin issues for me! Absolutely love this brand (PUR) and this product. Will definitely purchase again.

I have spent years jumping from one makeup brand to another, trying to find something that matched my skin well, created the effect I wanted, and that felt good on my skin. I'm thrilled with the PÜR 4-in-1. I'm menopausal, so my skin isn't as elastic feeling as it used to be, but the PÜR doesn't make my skin feel dry or tight. It creates a matte, soft effect. I've already ordered 3 other products by PÜR, that's how satisfied I am.
