This is a really fun punching bag for your family. Our kids and adults have all had fun punching/hitting/kicking this around -- great for releasing your frustrations and great for ADHD management! It has stayed in place and stable. We have it indoors; using water to stabilize it. It was easy to inflate, but did need to be reinflated (additional air) a few times. We have been keeping an airbed pump nearby. Assembly was very simple; however we did have a few mishaps with water and flooding (our mistakes) and had to decide against sand as a stabilizer per one of our friends' advice. However, your experience might be different. And if so, you CAN use sand to stabilize this -- your choice of sand or water. It is a really nice, small-footprint, satisfying punching bag. Great for your home, basement, or sheltered outdoor space if you have temperate weather. It would make a great addition to your fitness or play room. ... show more

Just like any punching bag, you of course have to put sand or water at the base as a form of weight, which was fine. It was blowing it up that was a pain. At first, I was blowing it up for a few minutes only to find out there was another valve that all the air was leaking out of (there is typically only one valve for something that needs to be blown up). I did have to manually blow it up, but once it was done it worked great and my little brother absolutely loved it. He’s recently gotten into boxing, so something like this is really helpful! ... show more

So easy to set up, seems to be a thick material so hopefully it will last the rigors of a 10yr old and an 8yr old. Mom says she will put on patio and have the boys go pound it for 10-15 mins when they start being aggressive with each other. She might be on to something there. I know the boys will love it and hopefully will give mom a break from them pounding on each other ... show more

The plastic on this Punching Bag is thick. The bag and the base of the bag need to have air pumped into them. Some sand in the base. Comes with a patch in case of air leaks.

This is not our first punching/kicking bag. They are durable if kept inflated and not abused by kids and solely used for punching and kicking. Our previous one got a bit deflated and was jumped on which caused it to pop at one of the seams. The other thing to keep in mind is this requires about 6 gallons (23 liters) of water or sand to help keep it in place on the ground. Make sure you have it in the spot you want it before adding the approximate 50 lbs (23 kgs) of weight to the base of this. It's a bit tougher than it seems to try and move a soft plastic bag full of water or sand around. After that there are 4 valves for inflating the sections with air. They need to be filled fully to make stiff, but not overfilled which could pop it. The user will notice the lower neck needs is important to be filled fully as this will cause the top main kicking part to sag to one side or the other if it isn't filled properly. The image and color matches exactly to the actual product. It's made of a strong PVC material which does well taking regular kicks and punches from kids. It does its job and when used properly and not abused it will last a long time. Just make sure you have an inflater nearby as items like this typically slowly lose their air after a while, whether used or unused. ... show more

First off, this thing is built to incredibly. They've used some thick PVC material that can take a real beating. My nephews and their friends give this punching bag all they've got, and it just keeps bouncing back for more. I've lost count of the number of times they've kicked and punched it, but it still looks brand new – no tears, no wear, and the surface stays nice and smooth, so no worries about any scratches or bruises. What's really cool is that it's turned into a fantastic way for them to burn off all that endless kid energy. It's not just play; it's exercise that keeps them active and off the electronics, and boosts their confidence. I can see the positive impact it's having on their physical fitness and how it's helping them spend less time in front of screens and beating up each other. And let's not forget about the bottom base, which keeps the whole thing standing tall without wobbling. To make sure it's rock-solid, we filled the base with water, and it became even more stable.
