As my fourth Pulsar mouse purchase, I have to emphasize right off the bat: this thing is the real deal. It is every bit as good as the $250-$350 boutique mice we've seen in the last year. To start with, I'll give you my experience. My first experience with Pulsar was with their X2 Mini, which I found to be an outstanding mouse in almost all regards except in the sense that it for some reason "didn't feel totally right" in my hand (18x10cm for reference). I found that I never could really get a solid grip on it during fast-paced gaming moments for some reason, but never could put a finger on what it was. Fast forward a year and I hear about the X2H via Reddit and it suddenly all clicks in my head, 2001 "A Beautiful Mind" style. It was just missing a bit of weight and shape towards the back of the mouse! Immediately upon receiving my unit that theory was confirmed. This shape feels GREAT in the hand, to the point where I simply can't compare it to another shape on the market. It feels more solid, easier to control, and just all around a pleasure to use. Performance is also outstanding, especially when paired with the 4K Polling Dongle (sold separately for ~$20 at time of review). My testing consisted of multiple standardized movement tests using the MouseTester software at the following polling rates (in Hz): 250, 500, 1000, 2000, 4000. The results were sublime, as the connection was rock solid at suggested distance from the dongle (within 15") and even at my extreme test distance of 6' which included multiple other wireless devices between the dongle and mouse. No jitter, consistent latency, I couldn't have asked for better performance. In terms of clicks and buttons, the two primary clicks have a satisfying action that's on the firmer side (which I personally prefer). Side buttons are perfectly positioned and also provide a confident tactile acknowledgement when pressed. Which leads me to the only downside of the mouse, which might be subjective again as this is personal preference: For me personally, I find the scroll wheel action to be far too soft for my liking. I prefer a firm, consistent scroll step, especially for FPS gaming where you might be scrolling through weapons in a firefight. I found myself CONSTANTLY accidentally scrolling past the desired stop because the action was so light. Even after a few weeks of use, this is the only thing keeping the X2H Mini from being my go-to for gaming, which is a shame. Outside of gaming, however? This is what I'm rocking for work/browsing/etc. Such a great feeling mouse, just wish the scroll wheel was a bit stiffer. All in all, I highly recommend this to everyone considering it as it's an outstanding product. If you're fortunate enough to be in a position to go feel the shape before buying, go for it but be warned: your wallet is going to be $100 lighter when you leave.

The media could not be loaded. This mouse is, in all honesty, the first lightweight mouse I’ve held that doesn’t feel like a cheap Mc Donald’s toy. Here is my review (overall review at the bottom): Its advertised claw gripping design might seem intimidating at first, it did for me at least, but as somebody with pretty big hands I can confidently say that claw gripping is definitely optional and the medium size fits pretty comfortably for me. Examples are in the pictures attached. The X2V2 does not come with grips or extra skates, although, I think that having rubber grips on this mouse is unnecessary as the material it’s made of is pretty soft and grippy in itself. The option to adjust things like the LOD (Lift Off Distance) is a very useful feature to have that I don’t think is directly previewed in the images, especially for someone like myself that lifts up my mouse to readjust a lot. Similar mice like the GPRO X v1 lack in a few useful features the X2V2 has and paying $160 for a GPRO X v2 for basic features a mouse at that price should just *HAVE* is ridiculous. Overall, the Pulsar X2V2 is a very quality lightweight and wireless mouse at a decent price. It fits comfortably for people with both big and small hands, the mouse buttons don’t sound plasticy and cheap after a few days of usage (I’m looking at you Razer), the softwares interface has a handful of useful features and is very clean/easy to use, and lastly I can’t really explain it but the lightweight material it’s made out of feels premium and almost satisfying to hold. As a gamer for 30 years and coming from the Logitech G Pro mouse, this has been a MASSIVE upgrade to my general comfort while gaming (and for general use too). That said, what really matters about this mouse (and the Atlantis Mini Pro) is that the symmetry and shorter hump allows for perfect claw hand grip. Secondly, everyone should get the mini. I don't care how big your hands are. I have used larger mice most of my life with the exception of the G305 and there's only one thing to be said: smaller mice are more precise, full stop. no questions. This mouse, along with the Atlantis, are best in class right now. I spent a couple of weeks with two versions of this (medium and mini) and the Atlantis. In the end i went with Polaris because the build quality and the clicks are better.

I went through 3 of these things before I gave up. They have the worst clicks you will ever feel in a mouse. They grind/crunch/stick. They get worse the longer the mouse sits untouched. Such a shame because the shape is perfect.

Sticky clicks, pulsar's support faq has a page addressing this particular issue. If you ask for help about it, you'll be advised to get it replaced, return it, or DIY fix. Most would never open their mice. But I did it, I went for using aluminum tape to cover the black-mylar pads which caused the sticking. The coating feels almost chalky. When hands are dry, it's slippery. When hands warm up, and I generally have sweaty hands, so after warming up and having a little moisture, the grip is real. I think it might be second to roccat's kpu coating in terms of grip intensity. The stock skates are good, works well on my cordura pad and on skypad. Scrolling has distinct steps. I mainly chose X2-A variant of the x2 for the extra modular side buttons. It just seemed to make sense to have the extra feature since they all cost about the same. I do wish the bottom was a normal closed shell instead of having the holes.
