Weak choke linkage
There is one very weak point in the choke linkage. Mine either came broken or broke with the first few pulls. There is a small rod that connects, with a spring, the choke lever with the choke plate. The mounting for this rod is clearly insufficient. When it breaks, the choke won't work and the unit is difficult to impossible to start. Customer service was excellent and after I showed pics of the broken part, offered a replacement carb but the warehouse was "out", so then offered to issue a return authorization. I wanted this size generator and needed it to be propane powered. I took the carb out and using JB Weld, better secured the little rod to the choke lever. Problem solved and the machine runs great. Getting a replacement carburator would have still meant doing this repair. The choke on this model WILL fail, probably sooner, maybe later. I sent pics of the broken parts and also of my repair, suggesting they be forwarded to engineering or the repair departments. I would hope that Pulsar's other models don't share this design flaw.

Well built works flawlessly.
During lengthy power outages gasoline becomes difficult to acquire. Long lines at gas stations, if you can find one that is open. That's why I chose a gasoline/propane generator. This one was quick to set up, and worked flawlessly on both gas and propane. I did check to see if would transition from gas to propane while running, and yes, it does so nicely. Seems well built and has a wheel kit and propane hose included. I didn't like the fact that it can only use 240v or 1 20v one at a time. I would have liked to have access to both 240 and 120 so I can run my well pump and 120v outlets simultaneously.

Broke twice in one year!
Very heavy, but expected for such a large generator. I like the dual fuel, but it broke 2 times before one year. Pulsar sent parts 1st time for me to put on, im not a mechanic. Now it doesnt run, pulsar wont send parts without getting the hrs it ran. Cant get the hrs running if its broke. Amazon wants a 20% restock fee to return($104.00!). Square trade will pay for labor if i an get the parts! Wow! NOT HAPPY! Nothing like passing the buck on my $500.00 spent.

Incomplete instructions--Questionable Tech Support
Followed every instruction in the manual but it wouldn't start. Tech support said I needed to connect the battery. This is a manual start generator so the dangling battery cable looked like it was an appendage for an electric start model. No obvious sign of a battery and there is nothing in the manual about it. Anyway, I found where to connect that dangling wire but it still wouldn't start. Then the tech support lady said to check the oil. I told her that I filled it 3/4 full according to the dipstick. There is no mention of the capacity in the manual so I had to add and check every few ounces. She said to fill it up all the way! I asked how much does the crankcase hold and she said a little more than a quart. So I added the remainder of the quart into the crankcase but it was too much and leaked several ounces onto my newly paved blacktop driveway. I'm sure my driveway will be permanently stained. Eventually I got the unit to run. Plugged in an electric drill into a 120 volt outlet and nothing. It seems that there is a switch that either feeds the 240 volt outlet or the various 120 volt outlets. Again, nothing in the instruction manual. Luckily it's now running and I hope it will provide reliable service for the infrequent power interruptions.

Not for rv
Whether using lp or gasoline, generator can not keep up with 30amp rv. I had 1 space 1500w space heater going and the generator struggled with the load. All other ac appliances were unplugged or breakers shutoff. Tried plugging extension cord with heater only same result. I wasted $500 , cant return and don't want to sell to anyone.

Great Product and Great Customer Service
What an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING GENERATOR and what AMAZING Customer Service to go with it. I was unsure on a configuration and contacted customer service. They were prompt, friendly and very helpful and informative. They took the time out to help me with any questions. Very patient and the Generator itself is amazing. They went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied and even gave follow up calls after I was all set. Great Product and Great Customer Service to go with it. Definitely reccomend to all.

Works well!
Works well but starting instructions are confusing and not accurate! Fuel switch was labeled one way but the labeling instructions had it going the other way! After figuring this out and flooding it several times in the attempt finally got it started and it works well! To my surprise not as noisy as the competitors!
