I have to say, this little sofa is great! We needed a small sleeper for guests and it had to be small enough to fit into our spare room which doubles as my painting studio; this really fits the bill. It's very pretty and the sleeper-bed feels pretty dang good even without a topper. The ribbed fabric is thick and soft--visually it looks great and does not scream 'cheap' at all. It came in two huge boxes so it's a bit tough to wrangle alone but I did manage to do it while the husband was away. The mattress component with all the metal is crazy-heavy, most women would need a guy to get this up the stairs--somehow I managed it but it was seriously in doubt at several points mid-way. Other than that, putting it together was pretty easy, as others have said, you just need to have the arm strength to lift the iron mattress portion when inserting it onto the pins/screws. The back and side cushions are lovely and soft, the seat cushions are more firm, not sure if they will soften with time but as this will primarily be used for sleeping, that's fine with us. The seat is also a bit too deep which is one of my husband's pet peeves in sofas these days but still, all in all this is a surprisingly nice piece especially for the price point. We are extremely pleased with the product for the price. We shopped for other sofabeds at higher prices and less quality. We purchased fabric color tan (which is actually antique white) for a guestroom. It is a narrow room width difficult to find a product to fit and this hideabed does. Assembly: Product came in two boxes, one box is mattress. All cushions are compressed and fluff up after opening. Easy to assemble. Bed system: Pleasantly surprised the bed slats are wood, which provides far better support than a spring stretched tarp type base. Bed has an unusual tri- fold storage system that operates very smoothly and is easy to open and close. Guest tested review is the mattress is slightly firm. Guest said they could not feel the slats and mattress was comfortable. Guest recommended a topper for those that like a softer mattress. (Note topper must be trimmable to size as it is about 5" narrower than a double mattress.) Bed comfortably sleeps one adult or two kids. It would be tight for two adults. The bed functions for our intended use; which is a downstairs bed for guests who have difficulty climbing stairs. Sofa: Fabric is a soft, nappy corduroy. We plan to (and recommend) applying scotch guarding the fabric against stains. All cushions have zippers. Couch is a little short in depth so the included throw pillows are helpful for back support. Couch appearance: Attractive. The cup holders (and disco lights along the bottom, unless it's for a teen) are not necessary. Cupholders don't hold a coffee mug. Due to the absorbent corduroy fabric we recommend a side table. Overall review is 5 stars. It's not a high end pricey brand but it's excellent for the price. Customer service: 5 stars/excellent. Upon delivery we had a zipper on a seat cushion pull apart. We reported it through Amazon customer contact and a real person emailed back responding within a few hours. We sent photos and explained the issue and they immediately shipped us a new set of two cushion covers with an improved zipper placement. ... show more

    • Great couch on a budget!

I spent several months searching for the perfect couch before purchasing this one. After looking at various pullout couches under 65 inches, this was the best option I found. I didn’t realize it was made of corduroy until later, but since I’m a fan of the fabric, it turned out to be a nice surprise. Setting it up was fairly straightforward, though the instructions could be clearer. One of the screw holes was incorrectly installed by the manufacturer, so I had to adjust the screw to fit it properly. Once I figured that out, everything went together nicely. If not for that hiccup, I would have rated it a solid 5/5. The fabric, cushions, and pullout mattress are all soft and comfortable. Accessing and folding back the mattress is quick and easy—just a few minutes. While a mattress topper could enhance comfort, it’s not essential; I’ve had worse experiences sleeping on other couches. After a few nights on it, I woke up without any aches, and I didn’t feel the wooden slats at all. I’m even considering getting another for a guest room. As someone who is particular about comfort, I believe this couch is worth every penny. Plus, the USB charger, cup holders, and LED lights are great features at this price! Cons: The only drawback was during installation. The pullout mattress and mechanism were a bit heavy and awkward to handle alone, but I managed. One thing I am not a fan of is the tiny leg in the front of the pullout mattress. It is very loose and unsupportive unless you position it correctly; however, this is such a minor drawback for me as it's not a crucial leg. Though, I would worry about finding a replacement at some point. I'd imagine that some PVC pipes and couplings could be a good DIY option if it should ever fail and I am unable to find a replacement part. ... show more

I'm in love with this little couch!!! Very well made and comfy, plus all the extras! Fairly straightforward assembly, though the instructions could be a bit clearer on location of cushions and USB/light hookup! Everything worked perfectly AFTER figuring this out! Bless the person who took time to explain in their review!!! BEFORE you put feet on...there is a velcro compartment on the bottom of BOTH armrests! There, you will find the other 2 cushions!!! Also, FACING THE COUCH, in the left armrest compartment ( right if you are sitting on couch!), you will find the USB hookup, which is why there's a splitter cord! Just plug in, plug to electric, and you are good to go! I really hope this info saves someone the frustration I experienced! I totally recommend this little couch, esp. for the price!!! ... show more
