Flawless Performance and Airflow: The honeycomb structure is perfectly sized (400 x 400 mm) to fit most mid-range desktop laser engravers, providing ample space for common material sizes. This dramatically reduces smoke buildup and, most critically, virtually eliminates the "flashback" effect that causes ugly scorch and burn marks on the underside of materials like plywood and MDF. Inexpensive and works great on my Elegoo laser. Highly recommend for the budget conscious. I was skeptical at first, especially with the hold down clamps, but works perfectly and my laser cuts come out perfect.

I needed a smaller honeycomb bed for one of my desktop setups, and this 200x200mm size fits perfectly. The build quality is better than I expected for the price—it's heavy, flat, and doesn't have any sharp burrs on the edges. It makes a huge difference in airflow, so I'm getting much cleaner cuts without those annoying yellow scorch marks on the bottom of the wood. If you're doing more than just light engraving, you really shouldn't run without one of these.

Purchased due to the positive reviews. It was easy to assemble. Placed it on top of my honeycomb work surface. Was disappointed that it didn’t prevent black/burnt edges on the backside. It was actually worse than my original one. After just one use, it was stained and difficult to get clean. Not the results that I expected given the reviews. I guess I’ll keep it but just to save the original.

Good base. Easy to slide together, and it should do the trick. Can make it smaller if necessary. Only downside is the clips are a little difficult to pull out of the styrofoam. Bent one.

Firstly im new to laser engraving and don't know much about the hobby. I bought this on day 2 because I was damaging my table under the engraver. THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU ARE NEW TO ENGRAVING. This mat is great. I already burned through 6mm of wood a table cloth and half way through a plastic table Without this honeycomb on my first day of laser engraving. Ordered this honeycomb as it was 25% cheaper at the time then the competition was. Came clean packaging and slid together in less than 20 seconds. Its a little less esthetic then the traditional honeycomb design but peace of mind it gives is great. I am only using a 10w diode but it withstood cuts on 1.5mm basswood at 100% power and 10mm/s
