I purchased this for my boyfriend a little over a year ago because he's always cold and the winter just kicks his butt. It's been absolutely amazing! The jacket itself is already warm even without the heating element, but with the heating component it's been 10x better! He doesn't like to use any of his other jackets in the winter now. We're going on over a year and everything is still working the same as it did the first day. It does take a while for the battery to charge, but if you charge it every evening (depending on usage) then it will last all day. It's also nice that the battery isn't huge, it fits nicely in the inside pocket and you really don't notice it when you have the jacket on. I really like this jacket! It kept me warm in the Minnesota winter, and that’s hard to do. -15° weather, is comfortable and stops the wind. It is washable and dries relatively quickly. If I am being critical, the seams could be doubled up. My arm cuff is already coming apart. However I do use it to work and my work is very physical. The battery is also a bit heavy, but you don’t notice it when you’re wearing it. It lasts quite a while, many hours on high. It also has heating for the pockets for your hands. Great heated jacket, only downside is rhe battery pack quickly lost its life span. Plan ahaead to buy a couple more battery packs. But it does keep you toasty. Works great. I still recommend wearing some thermals under jacket. A thin wind breaker or something. Jacket got me by a few years. But again would be wayyyy wayy bettrr and would give it a 5 star if we could use more than one type of power pack for the jacket. I recommend converting power cable to a usb c source or something. With a snap in connection or magnetic connection to hold it in place. ... show more

I bought a women's 2x coat on an auction about 4 years ago. Recently, I put on some weight and it no longer fit. 2x is the largest women's size. I found the men's came in a 3x. It fit beautifully. The coat has 5 heat zones and 3 temps so it keeps you warm no matter how cold it gets. Two things to keep in mind. The men's coat has no hood. Not a problem for me. The other thing is that you may want to purchase a 2nd battery if you are wearing it out in the cold all day long. The battery life is fine if you are just wearing it when running errands. I wanted to give it some time before I wrote a review on here to put it to good use and multiple charges on the battery so that I could be of some help on here. I see multiple bad reviews around christmas time and I believe it's simply from high volume sales and low quality control. The battery was packaged well and so was the jacket itself. It comes with multiple cases to protect it from damage while traveling if you're not going to be wearing it or for storage during the warm season. One thing they dont tell you is the battery doubles as a charging bank! It has a USB outlet on it and you can charge you phone or other devices on it! On medium in 25 to 32 degree weather I'm actually opening the zipper a bit to cool off. On low as long as I'm not just standing still it keeps me warm even in sub freezing temps. I work out doors all day even in the winter time in a climate that is 13 degrees in the morning and sees a high of 36 most winter days. This does wonders! Worth every penny! Battery lasts almost 8 hours on medium and on low it has gotten me past 10 hours. Great product 100% recommend buying. ... show more

What would I do without this jacket? I’m so sure that I don’t want to be without it that I have 2 of them. I have ordered extra batteries so I can keep it on for as long as I want. I’ve even slept in it more than once because my house is cold and I was so cozy warm. As for going outside and doing chores in this, YES! This jacket does just what it’s supposed to do. Also has held up well considering I wear it all the time when it’s cold. Love this jacket! I'm tired of always being cold, so I decided to spend the money on this jacket. Someone said they the size was running small so I went up a size and got a 3x. I actually should of bought a 2x, it's super loose, but if you add a big jacket under it, you'll be comfy. (This jacket is warm enough you wont need another jacket). The jacket comes in case to store it in when it's not in use/storage in warmer months. It looks similar to a laptop bag. I had to take a few moments to figure out how to actually turn it on. So what you do is plug in the battery pack to the coat, turn the battery pack on, then push the button on the front of the jacket for a few seconds (I had thought it was originally like a portable charger that you plug in and it charged. The battery acts as the power source, so that needs to be on.) To sum it up, all my friends are jealous and want one of their own now. I'm super happy with this jacket, its super comfy. ... show more
