The mask fits well, nice and snug, once I figured out how to tighten it properly (pull tabs straight back not up). Breathing was a bit labored but I got used to it. Vision was unimpaired; there is a bit of distortion from the plastic mask looking at a distance, but perfectly fine close up. It did not fog up at all, but it does muffle the voice. It's not as heavy as it looks, in fact I wore it longer than needed because I kind of forgot about it after wearing all day. I wish I'd had it for some projects I worked on earlier this year. Despite the headline, this is a wonderful respirator and I would recommend it any day. I purchased it so that I can use it in my workshop while woodworking, I found it to be really comfortable and could work for hours without taking it off. The reason for my comment in the headline and not somewhere in the middle of this review, is that there are some questions about airsoft among the reviews, and some of them state "this mask is super solid" and even "Sure!!!!", which should be illegal to say when you have no idea whether or not it can leave some poor fella with no eyes at the end of the day. TLDR: .2g 6mm BB with 100-120m/s velocity cracked the glass from as far as 30 meters, which I'd say is VERY not safe to use in airsoft. I wasn't expecting this respirator to be suitable for airsoft but wanted to try it out, so my plan was to test the mask first and shoot at it while approaching it between shots. I thought that a burst or full-auto from 1-2ft away *could* be dangerous, but still started at around 40 meters away. I was surprised to find out that on my fourth shot it cracked the glass by the rubber seal leaving one inch long crack in the glass. Surely I can assume I got incredibly unlucky, but should you decide to test yours — make sure to NOT to shoot in the middle of the glass so you can at least epoxy the crack and use it as intended, should it crack the glass. Ive wanted to get a few of these but the competition charges 300$ each. I came across an add on yt and saw the price but it seemed to good to be true. I only ordered 1 at first but when it arrived and I tried it on, I realized they were great quality. I ordered 3 more the next day as family will need to be safe as well. I'm a thin-framed woman with a long, oval face, looking for a full-face mask for painting my house with an airless sprayer. I bought three different masks off of Amazon, hoping for a good fit from one of them. Since fit was my first concern, I did not use this mask, and thus cannot attest to how well it works at filtering air. Sizing issues: This fit the outside of my face perfectly! My single complaint is about where the inner breathing mask hits the bridge of my nose. I have a ski-slope nose (no Transylvanian ridges). The mask is made of a soft silicone, so I cannot understand why (when the mask is on) it feels like something hard is pressing against the bridge of my nose. It was really uncomfortable. I tried shifting the weight of the mask, but that didn't quite work. Maybe I could trim the silicone back a bit, as I believe another woman did in another review. Not knowing exactly what I'm looking for in a mask functionality-wise, this mask seems to be really well built. It really felt like quality materials compared to the two other masks I bought that were obviously made in China. I could hear the anti-fog flap (no idea what this is called) moving as I breathed. The straps were easy to tighten, but they pulled at my hair. One of the three masks I tried had a nicer material for the straps that held very securely, but did not pull on my hair at all. ... show more

Nice build quality. Great seal. I can breath a bit better with this vs others masks, even a small powered air mask I have. I had no major issues using it with my glasses. It was snug but it works. It will work fine for my usage for wood dust in my shop. I am going to try to mod it to make a PAPR. Glass is clear. It’s great overall. Glad I picked it up for $60 on prime day ... show more

    • Doesn't Fog - and I'm pretty hot natured/prone to fogging

Fits great - I have a roundish face, average build guy and it fits and seals just fine! It hasn't fogged up on me yet - while I haven't had a chance to use it outside in the middle of august in eastern NC (aka hell on earth climate simulation center), it's done great for wood working and lead melting hobby activities 3-4 hours at a time in temps of high 80s/low 90s with 70-80% humidity. The mask is super clear - it seals great - just be aware the seal needs to be on your skin not the cloth if you wear a hat or something. Also - after about 3-4 hours the first few times wearing something like this I did get a slight headache and neck soreness as I stood over a laithe with this on, looking down, for 3-4 hours straight - it's not super heavy but it's heavy enough that if your not used to wearing something like this that your neck muscles will feel it when looking lightly down/throwing weight off center. I just grabbed a tall stool to sit down so I'm not looking down as much but after a month of using it a couple times a week like that It's not a problem at all. It's much more comfortable and easier to breathe with than cloth face masks and regular goggles - plus adds extra protection from large wood chunks flying off etc - so I expect to buy again once I wear this one out. I have a old pillow case I slip it into when done so I don't knock it around/scratch up the lense when not using - but so far from general use i've not had any scratches occur. ... show more
