Plan to test this thing, but I have no doubt it will serve me well when I need it most. MIRA safety doesn't play with CBRN preparedness. Forms a positive seal, is comfortable to wear, and dawning is a piece of cake. Better to have it and not need it then to-well you know the rest.

This does not come with a filter. The mask fits and feels great! I have many surplus masks, but I decided to pull the trigger on a Mira Safety mask. Totally worth it IMO. The fact that it accepts 40MM filters is awesome, so I won't have to spend $89 on Mira's proprietary filters. I can stock up on Isreali filters instead. ... show more

    • Air Filters Don’t Come With Masks!!

I like the product although I felt mislead and thought that the gas masks came with a front filter already, especially for the price I paid . I then had to spend an additional $85-90 for the gas mask filters . I feel that the headline should say , “Gas Masks ONLY, “Air Filters Sold Seperatly”

This is a quality tactical gas mask with specialty design for use with optics. Appears to be well manufactured with a good airtight seal. You hope that you never need to use it, but if the situation arises this is the one you want. I recommend.

The mask seems good. Pretty good quality but has an extremely strong chemical smell. Once you put it on you will be overwhelmed with the smell. I guess it’s better than breathing in a toxic gas, but Jesus Christ…… Don’t get me started with the bottle. That thing smells like straight cancer.
