  • Works perfectly
Collects dust pretty well from my turnings creating less clean up

  • Almost perfect
This is a tremendous design and it fits my midilathe almost perfectly. However, there is one serious flaw. The plastic collector is thin and brittle plastic. Easily damaged IMHO. Could be replaced by a section of 2-liter container perhaps.

  • Fits my Wen lathe well
Easy to assemble, fits fine and will be a bonus when I start turning again.

  • No room for hose
The way this is made would be great for a stand alone lathe, by mine is bench top. No room to fit the hose is without multiple adapters

  • Will not work without some modification for ShopFox lathes
UPDATED: Well, like a lot of others mine has now broken at the bolt mounts…as in it broke with a 1 1/2” hose to it. There’s honestly no need to have this be clear, make the dang thing out of HDPE so it might stand a chance if actually holding together! Great idea, poor execution on the mounting hardware. I’ve ended up using a mighty mag mount for it to attach to the banjo. Seems to have been made for a specific lathe and that was definitely not mine. ... show more

  • Works well but doesn't fit a large Banjo
This thing works great for pens and small project. I had to fabricate my own clamping bracket to fit over my PowerMatic banjo. The included (very heavy duty) clamp probably fit most Midis.

  • The plastic broke within a week of use, should have listed to other reviews
The plastic broke within a week of use, should have listed to other reviews - not worth the buy. The idea is great, the execution is lacking.

  • Horrible adjustment
Isn’t large enough, cannot adjusted correctly, don’t come underneath the workpiece. Buy the Rockler and don’t waste your money
