My old battery packs started going bad on my WII remotes. This caused lose of connection during gaming which was frustrating. Since you can no longer get the battery packs that would work with my old charger I had to purchase the new battery packs and new style charger. I was kind of disappointed that although the station came with a cord, it did not come with a plug. I already have extra plugs, so that didn't slow me down. The media could not be loaded. I brought this charging station for the (Wii 2009 version) as a 2021 Christmas gift for my little grandson. At first the charging unit was working excellently. Now its March 2022 and this charging station has displayed new features that were not included in the original description I read on Amazon, before I purchased this charging station. Now the charging station is making humming sounds, it vibrates and won’t recharge the rechargeable batteries that came with the charging station. The red lights on the charging station flicker now while it’s trying to charge the rechargeable batteries; only to discover they charging station didn’t charge these batteries. The original ad description of how the light on the charging station should work states an entirely different result from my experience with this charging station. My little grandson gets so frustrated seeing the green light (the batteries are fully charged and ready for use. Instead he goes to use the (supposedly charged Wii remote) remote only to discover the batteries didn’t get charged. I have tried disconnecting the charging station from the wall socket, removing the remote from the charging station, turning the power button on the remote to the off position, (which makes the red light turn on for that specific charging slot) which really doesn’t help charge the batteries either) I’m requesting a full refund because this product didn’t last 6 months! Buyer please beware!!! ... show more

Bought this to replace the regular batteries in my Wii controllers. They fit perfectly and sit in the charging base great. Would recommend if looking for rechargeable battery replacements
