I used them in place of the dash speakers and replaced the door speakers with the same brand mid bass woofers in the door for a 5th gen Prius LE and now it sounds awesome...a makeshift component setup. The OEM system on that model is pathetic, to be generous. Now it has treble on the dash and mid and bass in the doors for a full range of sound. Want good highs that candle power and that’s sound quality. And for the size they look like powerful little dynamite. This is an add on today, this is my third time buying these tweeters and it is not because the others burns out. I’m installing six more individually on my doors. I’m telling you people these tweeters are built to last I have a 4500 watt amp that is literally pushing give or take 950 watts of real power and you can hear the crisp clear SNAPS perfectly coming from each tweeter. The media could not be loaded. These are very crisp and clear, plus can get as loud as you can stand. My receiver puts out 22rms watts, which seems to be about perfect for my mids and highs. If you're installing these in the dash of a foxbody Mustang, they are, of course, not a direct fit. I took the old tweeters out, completely gutter them, and mounted these to the outside edge of the frame with zip ties. Then bolted them back in like factory. I really have no idea what the resistor is for, but I just ran it inline with the positive wire. You can't go wrong at this price point. The video is with the tweeters and the 6.5" door speakers(same brand)which I will also review. The 6.5s are a much larger pain in the ass to install on a fox, but also worth it. ... show more
