This pouch was perfect for my saxophone. When putting my saxophone away, I used to have trouble with my neck and mouthpiece flying all over the case when traveling, but this pouch keeps them both secure inside of the bell and it fits nicely. The material is soft to the touch so it won't scratch your saxophone lacquer, but durable enough to protect the neck and mouthpiece with lots of cushion. It also has a divider on the inside so that your mouthpiece and neck are separated and won't scratch each other. I should have always been using this because it would have prevented a lot of scratches and even kept reeds from breaking (for whenever you leave the reed on the mouthpiece). Super simple and easy to use and it also matches the interior fabric of my Pro Tec saxophone case which has lasted me over 10 years! This fits in the bell of my Yamaha 82Z perfectly. I use it to hold neckstrap and two reed cases. Soft padding does will not scratch the horn. I'd buy again.

I got this for a new tenor case that is form fitting so there isn't the usual extra space to store things. Using the bell for storage of reeds, etc., works well with this case. I also love having switched to the smaller form fitting tenor sax case. This is an add-on to the Gard combination tenor-soprano sax wheelie bag I use a lot for local band rehearsals and gigs. The Gard bag didn't come with a tenor sax neck storage pouch so I bought this one. It's perfect for storing the neck in the bell of the sax, affording it more than adequate protection from bumping and scratches. Just be careful not to force this into the bell beyond letting gravity do it for you because you might bend the octave key mechanism -- easily corrected, but inconvenient. ... show more

This is the nicest bell pouch I have ever owned. It protects my neck and my bell. The divider is nice to store a few reeds and cleaning cloth. I had a neck bag already that came with my Bam Cabine case. But it had gotten old and worn out so I wanted something else. This does what it needs to. Big plus is the divider in the middle. I put my neckstrap on one side and my neck on the other. Bag also fits deeper in the bell than the other neck bag I had which only had room for the neck itself. No complaints.
