I have had a chance to try out all of the reeds in my 10-pack. Let me first say that for the price, you get a great deal. I have been paying 25.00 for three reeds. As a beginner, I was biting the reed, which is not ideal, so I ruined quite a few. I got the 2.0 strength. After playing each of them, I found that overall, they tend to be a bit more stiff than my expensive ones. I did find that some did play a bit better than others. One thing I did is use a reed geek to level out and smooth the ones I was having issues with. If you don't have one, you can use sandpaper works just as well! Afterwards, they play much better and I found out they were also lasting a bit longer. I will say that overall, you do get excellent value for these and will definitely buy again. ... show more

Let's just say, you get what you pay for. These reeds are for beginners who don't care about quality or consistency. I could not find one that sounded decent. Some played like 3 or 3.5.
