HELP - My husband (retired plumber) can not get this heater to work. He's tried for days, he even bought a new 60/80 pump switch, pressure is good! When you turn it on, a #2 pops up & goes away quickly. Then the temp shows up. Wasted $500 & $50 for switch and still no hot water:(

I bought this outdoor propane tankless water heater because we needed reliable hot water without waiting and without clutter inside the house. The 5.2 GPM capacity and the ability to serve two to four outlets at once sounded like a solid fit for our needs, and an outdoor install would save space and keep heat outside. Using it in daily life is straightforward. After installation, I press the power button and open the hot water tap to get instant hot water. The included remote controller lets me adjust the temperature from indoors, about 15 feet away, which makes it easy to dial in the warmth without going outside. What stood out was how well the temp stays steady. The thermostat system keeps the water within about 1°F of the target, and the seven-segment layered combustion helps keep things steady even when several taps are in use. It handles low water pressure pretty well, thanks to the 0.7 GPM minimum requirement, and the wind resistant and IPX5 protections add confidence for outdoor use. One small note is that you do need a nearby 110V outlet for the unit to power the ignition and operation. The setup also involves gas lines and venting, so some planning is required, but once in place it just works. Overall I’m impressed by the consistent hot water, the ease of use, and the safety features, and I would rate it five stars. ... show more

This product is not good. The remote quit working soon after installation. There was no information about product support or other documentation, so I just lived with it. It is February 20th, 2026 and it quit working altogether. I am going to return it. Stay away. Run!

Worked great for the first couple months, then the water started getting way to hot no matter what temp I put it on. Then 6 months in and it keeps throwing the E1 code and we have no hot water at all. It isn't igniting. I have gone through the trouble shooting steps and it still isn't working. Since it has been 6 months, I can no longer get in contact with the seller. *** UPDATE... Seller contacted me and shipped me a new hot water heater. I have gotten hooked up and it is working great!
