BUY, BUY, BUY!! GREAT unit and Fantastic customer service. This unit worked great right out of the box, then a few months after,.. I started having problems with the unit shutting off.... the customer service worked with me, troubleshooting and sending me parts. In the end it turned out that there was a problem with my plumbing for a bathroom remodel causing the hot water to backflow through the cold water supply. This company went above and beyond to help me find a solution, even offering to replace the unit! This wasn't necessary and I am very satisfied!!! ... show more

    • Buy a different, more reputable brand.
This product is a waste of money. The igniter is an obvious design flaw as it fails time and time again (3 total now for us.) Customer service wants you to have a degree in engineering these things to test this that and the other before they will consider sending a replacement. We are now outside the warranty window and will have to purchase a different brand and eat the cost of this one. Do yourself a favor and pay for a brand with a better product. Do not buy, this unit is absolutely NOT suited for outdoor use. Unit froze entirely with temps in the low to mid 30’s. What is the point of an “outdoor” unit if it can’t handle low temps?? Stupid. Total waste of money.

    • can't mix cold water, if you do it shuts off.
works great. however..... Ive had issues of it turning off when you try to mix cold water to temper it... we settled for lowering the tempature on the controller and only turning the hot water on due to it shutting off otherwise. could be a issue with the plumbing of my old mobile home but I'm not sure. other wise it works great and haven't had any other issues . ... show more

    • Don't do it. Pay for the better one.
We bought this because it was cheaper than getting a regular hot water tank. Don't do it. This only last just over 2 yrs and now we have to get another tank. It took so long to heat up and would stop hearing halfway through shower at times.
